[編者按] 本課例曾獲“2008年四川省小學英語優質課展評活動”中的一等獎,授課者周洪涯老師賽課前四天抽課題,短期準備,借展評活動開展學校(小學)三年級某班上課,授課時間為30分鐘。課例實錄由周洪涯老師和四川省教科所付春敏老師根據錄像整理而成。
Step1. Warming up (準備)
T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, Judy.
T: Nice to see you.
Ss: Nice to see you.
T: Ok! You say ‘nice to see you, too.’ Understand?
Ss: Yes.
T: Ok. Here we go.
(學生再次重復)
T:Thank you,boys and girls.
Step2. Revision(復習)
(教師與學生親切地互相問候之后,安排學生進行了一個依次報數的活動)
T:Boys and girls, let’s count the numbers. Do you know numbers?
(學生沉默)
T: Now, boys and girls, let’s count the numbers. Ok?
Ss: Yes.
T: Start from me. I’m
number one. One!
Ss: Two, three, four...
(學生依照座位一個接一個數數,老師糾正學生“thirty-seven”的發音)
T:So, boys and girls, tell me please, how many boys and girls are there in this classroom?
Ss: There are forty boys and girls in the classroom.
T: Thank you, boys
and girls. Now, I just prepar some pictures for you. Do you want to see them?
Ss: Yes, we do.
T: Please look at these pictures and try to say.
(教師邊說邊快速地閃現手中的圖片,學生齊聲說出圖片上的內容)
T:(展示一張課桌圖片)
What can you see?
Ss: Table.
T: Desk, not table.
How many?
(教師及時糾正學生的錯誤,幫助學生區分“desk”和“table”兩個詞)
Ss: One.
T: OK, a table.
T:(展示一張有三把椅子的圖片)This one, how many?
Ss: Three.
Ss: A desk, two boys, four girls, three bags, etc.
(學生再次看圖,要求指認物品說單詞和數數,然后將名詞和數量詞結合成詞組,進行更為具體準確的描述)
T: Thank you, boys and girls.
Step3. Lead in(導入)
T: Yesterday I visited your school, Pujiang Experimental Foreign Primary School. I think it’s very big and very beautiful. Now I want to show my school to you. Do you want to see my school?
Ss: Yes!
T: Here is my school. I’m from Luzhou. Please look at the screen.
(展示課件,屏幕上出現“我的學?!钡膱D片,包括教學樓,操場等)
T: Here is a garden. Here is a playground. Here is a building.
(教師一邊指示圖片上的花園、操場和教學樓,一邊說出以上句子,引導學生結合圖片理解話語)
T:How many floors are there in the building? How many? Let’s count.
(教師以提問的方式導入對本課句型的學習,學生一起跟隨教師對圖片上教學樓樓層的指示,再次用英文數數)
T:“How many floors are there in my school?
(引導學生數圖片上教學樓的樓層,并糾正樓層復數的正確說法“floors”,根據學生表現出來的疏漏,補充強調語法知識)
T: Now I will show you my classroom. Do you want to see my classroom?
Ss: Yes!
T: Ok. What can you see?
(教師通過多媒體展示教室圖片)
Ss: I can see a TV.
T: Yes! It’s a TV. We can say ‘There is a TV in the classroom.’
(教學生讀,先分意群跟讀,再跟讀完整句子。板書重點句型)
T: What's this?
Ss: There is a book in the classroom.
S1:On the desk.
T: Very good, on the desk. Together, there is a book on the desk.
Ss: There is a book on the desk.
(教師及時捕捉到學生的閃光點,因勢利導,將介詞短語補充到句型中去)
T: Good job! Now, my kids, look here. What are they?
(讓學生觀看屏幕,課件上呈現許多張桌子和椅子)
Ss: Desks and chairs.
T: How many desks and chairs?
(教師讓學生思考片刻,引導學生說“There are twelve desks in the classroom”并板書,用一個夸張的紅色“s”貼在desk后面,強調名詞復數的變化規則,提示學生在運用的過程中遵守并熟悉語法)
T: Desks, desks, desks,there are twelve desks in the classroom.
Ss:(重復)Desks,desks,desks, there are twelve
desks in the classroom.
(教師示范,引導全班齊讀板書,重點練習復數名詞“desks”和“rulers”。用同樣的方法,指導學生用“There are”句型分別說出“rulers”, “pens”, “boys”, “girls”并糾正語音)
Step4. Drill and Practice(練習)
T:Please look at the two pictures on the screen. Talk about the differences between them with the sentences ‘There is a ...’or ‘There are ...’
T: Please look at the two pictures. What are the differences between them?
(教師講清任務和要求,并把句型板書在黑板上;之后,教師和一組學生示范演示,再把全班同學分成男女兩個組展開競賽;教師充當記分員,為正確找出答案一組的籃子里放入“幸運花”)
Ss: There is one boy in the picture.
T: We always say ‘There is a boy in the picture’, not‘There is one boy in the picture’. Please read after me.
(教師及時糾正了學生的說法,并在黑板上板書出“a boy= one boy”,讓學生體會其用法。出示相應的單詞,讓學生練習)
T: In picture 1, girls, go!
Gs: There is a bird in the classroom.
T: Good!OK, boys, you repeat.
Bs: There is a bird in the classroom.
T:Now, boys, in picture 2?
Bs: There are two birds in the classroom.
(一些男生說“I can see...”然后老師讓他們再重復一次)
T: Good, good, very good. Here are the lucky flowers, one flower for you, boys, one flower for you, girls.
(個人回答與集體陳述相結合,讓優秀的學生帶動全班反復練習。在學生說句子的過程中,教師手中始終拿著一個夸張而又醒目的“s”,在學生忘記復數后面的“s”時,揮動手中的“s”,提醒學生,讓學生不僅學會說句子,也要學會正確的表達,為后面的交際練習做語言上的準備)
G1: There is a window in the classroom.
Gs:(重復)There is a/one window in the classroom.
T: Some girls say, there is one window in the classroom. Here,(板書:a girl = one girl) Are you clear? But we say‘There is a...’not‘There is one ...’Ok?
Gs: There is a window in the classroom.
T: Boys, go!
Bs: There is three windows in the classroom.
(教師糾正了學生對“is”和“are”的誤用)
B1: There are three windows in the classroom.
T: Now we talk about the doors.
Bs: There are two doors in the classroom.
(教師用同樣的方法完成了對圖片上其他物品、人物的比較,其間男生組兩次出現“is”和“are”的誤用,教師都及時予以了糾正)
Step5. Homework (作業)
T: Please take out your paper. Listen to the rule.
Ss: OK.
(做此練習前,教師先講清操作的方法和注意事項,學生兩人一組)
T: Look at the paper. Write down the answers on the blank. You can also discuss these questions after class. And maybe you can describe your school with the sentences we learned today.
Ss: okay...
