口語省略:wassup = what’s up;an’ = and;sorta = sort of;kinda = kind of;diff’rent = different;ya = you;
yer = you’re;montrin’ = monitoring;’em = them
Saddam Hussein:
Hurricane Katrina:2005
George Bush(my dad):
Get the Supremes:
Fool me once: 2002年,小布什曾經說過:“There’s an old saying in Tennessee—I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee—that says, fool me once, shame on—shame on you. Fool me—you can’t get fooled again. ”
Our enemies are 1)innovative and 2)resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.
Wassup America?
It’s me. G to the W B
your President number four three.
Land of the brave an’ sorta, kinda free,
tryin’ to keep it real up here in 3)DC.
People wonder sometimes what I be thinkin’.
My approval ratings’re low and they just keep on sinkin’.
It’s enough to drive a drinkin’ man back to drinkin’,
so I grab 4)a 40 an’ go sit by my man, 5)Lincoln.
Now Saddam Hussein; he was a 6)gangster—
more tricks up his sleeve than the 7)prankiest
prankster.
He was a bad man; he had 8)WMD.
Ya don’t mess around with the 9)G-W-B.
Now everyone’s sayin’ we’re in a 10)quagmire,
sayin’ I was wrong and callin’ me a liar.
But I don’t care; I don’t need nobody.
Iraq ain’t my fault; the intelligence was 11)cruddy.
Well, go on 12)criticalizers, go on an’ judge;
I’m a serious George;
some say a 13)delirious George.
Make me angry; I’m a furious George
But most mostly I’m a Curious George —
a little diff’rent in the brain.
But I’m 14)sane; know what I’m sayin’?
Hurricane Katrina was a natural disaster.
Some critics say I shoulda acted faster.
But let me ask ya this,
Why ain’t ’em people have boats or at least some floaty things so they could all float?
People say I was in 15)Crawford hidin’ inmy 16)cove
But that’s just not true. Ask 17)Karl Rove.
I was monitrin’ the storm from right there on the ranch
while simultaneously clearing out
18)a dangerous branch.
Yeah, there you go; now who’s to blame?
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, that’s a…shame…on…
ya know, I won’t get fooled again.
You know what I mean.
But I just keep on keepin’ on ’cause I’m atough guy.
What I got is a tricky situation
gotta keep sellin’ the war that’s bankruptin’ the nation.
Every now and then I feel a little bad,
so I just pick up the phone and I call my dad.
He says, “Son, don’t worry, yer doin’ just fine.
I mean you got 19)Rummy and Cheney and Condie Rice.
Ya got the House, the Senate, now you got the Supremes.
Yer battin’ a thousand; yer the king.”
“Yer right, daddy, I’m in 20)the right wing.”
“That’s right, boy, and it’s the right thing.”
“Well, they say I’m not smart.”
“What? You went to Yale. Show ’em your class ring.”
“Then can I throw ’em in jail?”
“Well now, hold on. There are certain laws.”
“Yeah, but, daddy, it’s for a righteous cause.”
“Well, 21)jeez Louise, Junior, do what ya think.
I gotta go.”
“OK, daddy, but you don’t think I’m a 22)flunky?”
“Naw, yer just curious, George, like a monkey.”
I’m a serious George;
some say a delirious George.
Make me angry, I’m a furious George.
But most, mostly, I’m a Curious George –
a little diff’rent in the brain.
Peace out, America.
