蘇州河武寧路橋下驛站位于武寧路橋北岸跨光復(fù)西路的橋洞下。這里曾經(jīng)密布倉庫廠房、工房里弄、工人新村等工業(yè)遺產(chǎn)。橋下驛站旨在城市更新的語境下探索如何盤活城市空間資源，將橋下消極空間積極化并進(jìn)行環(huán)境品質(zhì)提升，塑造向社區(qū)傾斜的日常公共空間。

我們希望把空間更多地留給開放、可變、容納自主活動(dòng)的使用方式，以利于在有缺陷的環(huán)境中創(chuàng)造一種讓人們接受的新氛圍。路北我們順應(yīng)原有護(hù)坡，將其改造為一個(gè)開放的階梯式“城市看臺(tái)”。路南緊貼防汛墻和橋墩，在兩端分別布置緊湊的隔間型衛(wèi)生間和自動(dòng)售賣機(jī)、儲(chǔ)物柜等服務(wù)設(shè)施，中間與城市看臺(tái)相對(duì)的是一個(gè) “迷你展廳”；展廳沿路界面都是可開可合的立軸旋轉(zhuǎn)的門式展墻，既能靈活展示，又能以不同的開閉姿態(tài)將自身定義為一個(gè)可變舞臺(tái)，與對(duì)面的看臺(tái)一起成為“橋下劇場(chǎng)”。

在建成后的大半年中，驛站慢慢聚集了一些人群，一些城市亞文化群體也“發(fā)現(xiàn)”了這個(gè)特別的場(chǎng)地，陸續(xù)慕名而來，舉辦了一系列活動(dòng)。2022 年4-5 月新冠疫情期間，橋下驛站曾經(jīng)有段時(shí)間成為了維系上海城市物流運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)的快遞騎手們的露宿營地。在城市遇到緊急事件資源緊缺時(shí)，我們見證了武寧路橋下驛站成為公共空間的一個(gè)可能的緊急“出口”。

評(píng)委評(píng)語

武寧路橋下驛站是一個(gè)從建筑品質(zhì)和社會(huì)貢獻(xiàn)兩方面都有示范意義的佳作。首先作品將基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施的冗余空間巧妙利用，轉(zhuǎn)型為具有社區(qū)價(jià)值的公共服務(wù)中心，重塑公共生活的價(jià)值。建筑在語言、空間和材料上都具備了一個(gè)好建筑的設(shè)計(jì)品質(zhì)。與此同時(shí)，建筑在新冠疫情期間為上海快遞騎手提供了臨時(shí)居所，既體現(xiàn)了溫暖的人文關(guān)懷，更證明了建筑作為社區(qū)中心給社區(qū)帶來價(jià)值的多種可能性。

The Service Station Under Wuning Road Bridge,Suzhou Creek is located under the bridge opening over West Guangfu Road on the north bank of Wuning Road Bridge.Wuning Road Bridge area used to be densely populated with industrial heritage such as warehouses,workshops,workers barracks,and workers new villages.The service Station Under the Bridge aims to explore how to revitalise the urban space resources in the context of urban renewal,positively transform the negative space under the bridge and improve the environmental quality,so as to create a friendly daily public space for the surrounding communities.

We hope to leave more space for the use of open,variable and autonomous activities in order to create a new acceptable atmosphere in defective environment.On the north side of the road,an open stepped "Urban Stand"has been created by adapting the original slope protection with two small rooms at each end reserved as lounges or maintenance gang houses.The south side of the road is close to the flood wall and the pier.Compact toilet cubicles and service facilities such as vending machines and lockers are arranged at either end of this side.In the middle,opposite the “Urban Stand”,there is a "Mini Showroom".The interface of the showroom along the road is a portal display wall with a rotating vertical axis that can be easily opened and closed.It can be used not only for flexible display,but also used as a variable stage with different opening and closing positions.Together with the opposite stand,it forms an"Under-bridge Theatre ".

In the follow ing nine months,i t gradually began to attract crowds.Some urban subcultural groups have also "discovered" this special site and came one after the other.They organised a series of activities.During the most severe COVID-19 in Shanghai from April to May 2022,the Under-bridge Service Station once became a camping area for delivery riders who maintained Shanghai's logistics operation.When the city encountered a shortage of emergency resources,we witnessed the Underbridge Service Station as a possible emergency"exit" for public space.

Jury Statement

The Service Station Under Wuning Road Bridge is an outstanding and exemplary work from perspectives of both architectural quality and social contribution.First of all,the work transforms the redundant space of infrastructure into a public service centre with community value,reinventing the value of public life.It possesses the qualities of a good architectural design in terms of language,space,and materials.Besides,the space became a temporary shelter for delivery riders during the COVID-19 pandemic in Shanghai,which not only provided warm humanistic care to people,but also proved the multiple possibilities of a building in bringing value to the community as a community centre.
