李明清會見中美洲和加勒比國家政黨代表團

10月20日，市委副書記李明清會見了來渝訪問的巴拿馬民主革命黨副主席、政府住房部長羅赫里奧·帕雷德斯，多米尼加人民力量黨國際關系書記馬諾羅·皮查多，洪都拉斯外長顧問愛德華多·羅薩萊斯等組成的中美洲和加勒比國家政黨代表團。

李明清向客人介紹了重慶全面貫徹習近平總書記重要指示和中共二十大精神，扎實推動成渝地區雙城經濟圈、西部陸海新通道建設等國家戰略，加快推進新時代新征程現代化新重慶建設有關情況。李明清說，近年來，重慶與中美洲和加勒比國家在經貿往來和文旅交流等方面合作態勢良好，取得了良好成果。愿以此為契機，與中美洲和加勒比國家在貿易往來、交通和數字技術等基礎設施建設、人文交流、教育培訓等方面持續擴大交流合作，實現互利共贏，共同為鞏固和發展中國與中美洲和加勒比國家的友好關系添磚加瓦。

代表團一行表示，重慶地理位置重要，經濟基礎雄厚，發展充滿活力，取得的成績令人敬佩。愿積極參與共建“一帶一路”，與重慶在農產品貿易、交通建設、文化旅游等方面進一步深化交流合作。

Li Mingqing Meeting with the Delegation of Political Parties from Central American and Caribbean Countries

On October 20， Li Mingqing， Deputy Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee， met with the delegation of political parties from Central American and Caribbean countries， led by Rogelio Paredes， Vice President of the Democratic Revolutionary Party and Minister of Housing and Land Management of Panama， Manolo Pichardo， Secretary of International Relations of the Peoples Force Party of Dominican Republic， and Eduardo Rosales， Adviser to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Honduras.

Li Mingqing briefed the guests on Chongqings efforts of following through on General Secretary Xi Jinpings important instructions and the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress， its implementation of national strategies such as the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor （ILSTC）， and its progress in building a modernized new Chongqing for a new journey in the new era. He noted that Chongqing has maintained sound cooperation with Central American and Caribbean countries in recent years regarding trade， economic， cultural， and tourism exchanges， delivering desirable results. Built on this， Chongqing is ready to expand exchanges and cooperation with those countries in trade， transportation， digital infrastructure construction， cultural exchanges， education and training， and other fields to achieve a win-win scenario and closer ties between the two sides.

The delegation noted that Chongqing boasts a prime location， a solid economic foundation， a strong momentum for development， and thus admirable achievements. They expressed their willingness to actively engage in the Belt and Road Initiative and deepen exchanges and cooperation with Chongqing regarding trade in farm produce， construction of transportation facilities， culture， and tourism.
