比較：table和desk的區(qū)別

desk和table都表示“桌子”的意思。desk一般而言都是指“辦公桌、書桌、寫字臺(tái)”，一般帶有抽屜;table側(cè)重于指供吃飯、喝茶、游戲或其他用途的桌子，通常沒有抽屜。table相比desk而言，含義更一般，可視作“桌子”的統(tǒng)稱，而desk的含義則更具體，指“辦公桌、書桌、寫字臺(tái)”。如：

There are forty desks and chairs in the classroom.

教室里有四十張桌子和椅子。

Our football is under the table.

我們的足球在桌子底下。

2. Come on， Jack！

杰克，快點(diǎn)兒！

Come on是一句在西方國家?guī)缀趺刻於紩?huì)聽到的口語，但不同的語氣和場(chǎng)合有不同的含義。具體用法如下：

（1）表示請(qǐng)求、鼓勵(lì)等，意為“來吧;行啦”。如：

Come on， sing us a song.

（2）催促別人快走（做），意為“快點(diǎn)”。如：

當(dāng)think后面的句子含有否定意義時(shí)，通常形式上否定think，但意義上卻是否定think后面的句子，課文例句如改為否定句，則為：

I dont think those books are his.（正）

我認(rèn)為那些書不是他的。

（2）their是復(fù)數(shù)第三人稱（they他/它/她們）的所有格形式，是復(fù)數(shù)形容詞性物主代詞，在句中只可用作定語。如：

This is their school.

這是他們的學(xué)校。

They washed their faces.

他們洗了臉。

I dont know your name.

They dont know English.

他們不懂英語。

He doesnt know the answer.

Where引導(dǎo)的特殊疑問句

詢問某人或某物在哪個(gè)地方，用句型：Where + be + 主語（人或物）？

where是疑問副詞，意為“在哪里”，be要隨著后面主語人稱單復(fù)數(shù)進(jìn)行變化，單數(shù)用is，復(fù)數(shù)用are。wheres是where is的縮寫形式，回答時(shí)不能用yes或no，而是問什么就答什么。如果主語是人，回答時(shí)用人稱代詞主格作主語;如果主語是物，回答時(shí)單數(shù)用“Its + 表示地點(diǎn)的詞”，復(fù)數(shù)用“They are + 表示地點(diǎn)的詞”。如：

—Where is your mother？

你的媽媽在哪兒？

—She is in the kitchen.

她在廚房。

—Wheres my baseball？

我的棒球在哪兒？

方位介詞on，in，under的用法

表示物體的方位的詞，叫方位介詞。方位介詞in，on，under后面跟名詞或名詞詞組構(gòu)成介詞短語，不能單獨(dú)作句子的成分。具體用法如下：

（1）on 在……上（有接觸面）。如：

on the desk 在書桌上 on the floor 在地板上

on the bed 在床上 on the wall 在墻上

on the sofa 在沙發(fā)上 on the tree 在樹上

The pencil is on the box.

鉛筆在盒子上。

（2）in 在……中，在……內(nèi)。如：

in the room 在房間里 in the backpack 在背包里

The eraser is in the box.

橡皮擦在盒子里。

（3）under 在……之下，在……的下面。如：

under the tree 在樹下 under the table 在桌子下

under the bed 在床下 under the car 在車子下

The book is under the box.

書在盒子的下面。

注意：當(dāng)介詞短語充當(dāng)表語時(shí)，千萬不要忘了be動(dòng)詞（am，is，are）。
