“明月清風本無價，遠山近水皆有情。”無論是融景還是借景都意在為人與環境之間提供一種交融的可能，期待學子們在湖邊靜謐的校園空間氛圍中得以用心去體味和感悟藝術的真諦，這是建筑師所希望喚起的東西。項目有限的建設資金對于設計也許是一種約束，但也催生了“粗糧細做” 的設計思想，樸實而富有節制的建筑風格如何表達藝術學校的性格與氣質是建筑師希望探討的課題之一，建筑造型上以幾何學秩序為依托并希望賦予清水混凝土一種更加樸素和人性化的表達。總體規劃布局中也力求建筑空間的走向和形態能夠與武漢本地區的氣候特征相適應。

"The bright moon and the cool breeze are priceless, and the distant mountains and the near water are all sentimental." Whether it is a combination of sceneries or borrowing views, it is intended to provide a possibility for people to blend with the environment. Students are expected to appreciate and comprehend the true meaning of art attentively in the quiet campus space atmosphere by the lake. This is what architects hope to arouse. The limited construction budget of the project may be a constraint to the design, but it also gave birth to the design idea of "coarse grain and fine workmanship".How to express the character and temperament of the art school with simple and temperate architectural style is one of the topics that architects hope to discuss. Architectural modelling relies on geometric order in the hope of giving fair-faced concrete a more simple and humanised expression. In the overall planning and layout, efforts are also made to ensure that the direction and shape of the building space can adapt to the climatic characteristics of Wuhan.
