寺廟向公眾提供冥想訓(xùn)練，訓(xùn)練課程需要幾天甚至幾周。所以冥想中心需要為學(xué)員提供宿舍。這座建筑用作女性的宿舍和私人冥想修行處。建設(shè)資金全部來自捐贈(zèng)。

The temple offers meditation training to the public.The training courses take few days or even few weeks. So that the place needs dormitory for those who came to. This building serves as dormitory and private meditation practicing for women. The fund for construction came from donation entirely.

捐贈(zèng)可以是現(xiàn)金、提供免費(fèi)勞動(dòng)力或建筑材料，如鋼材、后張法預(yù)應(yīng)力混凝土、玻璃窗等。Suriya本人也將他自己的建筑天賦貢獻(xiàn)給了該項(xiàng)目。

The donation can be anything such as cash money, given free laborers or building materials like steel, post tension concrete,glass windows, etc.Suriya himself also gives his architecture talents as donationto the project.

概念和問題解決方案：

Concept & Problem Resolutions:

一，位置

1.Location

寺內(nèi)有一大片空地（空地也來自捐贈(zèng)），山景優(yōu)美。由于建筑占地面積大，首要考慮考慮因素是不能破壞該建筑景觀，建筑與景觀必須完美匹配。此外，將現(xiàn)有的物體、樹木、巖石、水池等作為建筑景觀的一部分。

The temple has a big land (land also from donation) with beautiful mountain view. Since the building is big the most concern is it must not be spoiled the view. The two objects must be perfectly matched.In addition that, the existing objects, trees rocks pool will be used as part of building landscape.

二，以解決問題為導(dǎo)向

2.Problems solving oriented

大多數(shù)建筑細(xì)節(jié)都來自于問題的解決，例如；要隱藏管道，把水體景觀換成欄桿。從照片上可以看得更清楚。

Most of all architecture details came from problems solving such as; to hide pipe line, replaced waterscape to handrail. As can be seen clearer from the photos.

三，資源管理

3.Resources management

建筑師必須處理好手頭的資源。主要捐贈(zèng)物資為后張法預(yù)應(yīng)力混凝土結(jié)構(gòu)，但無熟練技工。因此，設(shè)計(jì)最終結(jié)果是一個(gè)粗糙的混凝土結(jié)構(gòu)框架，無需技術(shù)工人。在主體結(jié)構(gòu)、混凝土柱、樓板和屋面完成后，再在建筑中插入具有代表性的復(fù)雜箱形結(jié)構(gòu)。生活箱需要更多的技術(shù)工人，但這是更易控制的步驟。最終，整個(gè)建筑看起來既粗獷又溫和。

Architect has to deal with resources he had in hand. The main donated materials are post tension concrete structure and none skilled laborers. So a design end up as a brutal rough concrete structure frame outside which didn’t require skilled laborer. After the main structure, concrete post, floor and roof are done then insertsophisticated boxes into the building. The living boxes require more skill laborer but it easier step that can be controlled. Eventually, the building looks rough and gentle altogether.

1.使用凈化形式（簡單的白框漂浮在森林中）

1. use purify form (simply white boxs floating in the forest)

2.將現(xiàn)有的景觀（巖石、山體、雨水）與建筑融為一體。

2. harmonized existing landscape (rock, mountain, raining water) into the building.

3.將泰國傳統(tǒng)風(fēng)格應(yīng)用到地板和天花板的細(xì)節(jié)。

3. apply some Thai traditional style into floor and ceiling details.

4.將陽臺四周欄桿更換為水景。

4. replace the handrail around balcony with waterscape.

5.每個(gè)居住單元單獨(dú)放置在開放的大樓層上，以便通風(fēng)和自然采光。

5. each living unit lay separately on the open large floor for ventilation and natural daylight.

6.平衡舒適但并不過于奢侈。

注重建筑與自然的聯(lián)系；這座建筑矗立在池塘旁邊的巖石上。下雨的時(shí)候，雨水會(huì)從山上流下，穿過這些巖石流到水池里。因此，建筑師在巖石上方增添了開放的地面，白天有陽光照射，夜晚有月光傾灑，雨水落下。正如Suriya解釋的那樣，這座建筑將成為連接天、地和地下世界的紐帶。這一理念成為建筑景觀設(shè)計(jì)的主要理念。

Focus on connecting building with nature; the building stands on the existing rock next to the pool.When it’s raining the rain water will run down the mountain through these rocks to the pool. Hence, the architect provides the opened floor to the sky above the rocks for sunlight at daytime, moonlight at night and the rain to fall down. As Suriya explained, the building would become a linkage between Heaven,Earth and the World beneath. This concept became a main idea for landscaping design to the building.

另一個(gè)理念是關(guān)于“解決問題如何成為一種建筑風(fēng)格”

The other idea is about “How problem solving become a building style”

為了讓建筑看起來干凈或純粹（Suriya原話），他需要隱藏衛(wèi)生和電氣管道。他用白色抹灰墻把管柱覆蓋起來，這些管柱呈折疊狀，看起來就像泰國傳統(tǒng)寺廟的風(fēng)格。

To give the building looks clean or pure form (Suriya’s words) he needs to hide sanitary and electrical pipe lines. He cover them with white plastered wall to columns in folded shape which is look alike Thai tradition style in general temple.
