2019 China Filament Weaving Industry chnology Innovation Seminar held

Recently， 2019 China Filament Weaving Industry Technology Innovation Seminar， hosted by China Filament Weaving Association and Huangmei County Peoples Government， organized by Huangmei County Investment Promotion Center and Hubei Huangmei Economic Development Zone Management Committee， supported by Jiangsu Niupai Textile Machinery Co.， Ltd. and Suzhou Sifang Technology Co.， Ltd.， was held in Huangmei County， Hubei Province.

Duan Xiaoping， vice president of China National Textile and Apparel Council and president of China Chemical Fibers Association， gave a keynote speech on “The 70th anniversary of the New China， development achievements and prospects of the textile industry”. At present， more than 60% of the worlds medium and high-end textile products are made in China. Chinas fiber processing accounts for 50% of the global total. Chinas exports account for 40% of global trade， and textile employment accounts for 30% of the world textile employment. In the past 20 years， the textile industry has earned a net foreign exchange of USD 3.2 trillion. The textile industry has achieved remarkable achievements. In the new normal and new situation， the driving effect of the traditional path is gradually weakened. The new path includes： not against the trend， product differentiation， green development and machine substitution.

Duan Xiaoping analyzed the basic situation of Chinas textile and garment industrys response to Sino-US trade friction. The trade imbalance between China and the United States is the inevitable result of the division of labor roles in the world under globalization. From the perspective of the United States， the structure of the US-China trade balance is different， and the complementarity of Sino-US trade relations is greater than the competition. The addition of tariffs has had a certain impact on the import and export of goods， but most of Chinas goods are mainly domestic sales， and the dependence on exports to the United States is low. The United States is Chinas largest clothing export market. The United States has not sanctioned Chinese clothing and temporarily reserved certain terminal demand support for the domestic chemical fiber field. In the long-term process of dealing with Sino-US trade frictions， it is recommended that the national textile clothing enterprises strengthen cooperation with the ASEAN， EU and Central and South America， especially the countries along the “Belt and Road” to reduce dependence on the U.S. market； actively carry out resource integration and global resource allocation； promote smart manufacturing and reduce production costs and calmly deal with complex trade environment.

Duan Xiaoping said that the textile industry still has strong competitiveness， and Chinas textile industry has obvious comprehensive advantages， which is an important support for the construction of a strong country. Textile enterprises should enhance their confidence， do their own work， seize the opportunity to meet the challenges.

At the same time， the conference held the promotion activity of “Textile Vision” filament weaving clean production technology achievements in 2019， focusing on the selection and transformation technology of water jet loom， new technology and application of pulp equipment， key technology and application of full-automatic warping machine， intelligent production technology and application of water jet weaving， lowcost treatment of water jet weaving wastewater and efficient recycling technology.

After the conference， the delegation came to Huangmei Economic Development Zone of Hubei Province to visit Baiheng Textile and Hongsheng Textile.
