China Launches the Communications Technology Experiment Satellite 4 into Orbit

China launched a new communications technology experiment satellite into its preset orbit atop a LM-3B launch vehicle from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center at 23：21 Beijing time on October 17.
The communications technology experiment satellite 4 was developed by the China Academy of Space Technology(CAST).The geosynchronous satellite will mainly be used to verify multi-band and high-speed communications technology.
The carrier rocket LM-3B was developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT).It was the 105th flight of the LM-3A series carrier rockets and the 315th mission of the Long March rocket series.(ZHENG ENhong/China Space News)
