With the development of society， it is more indispensable for people to study English. So the English education of the elementary school is becoming very important. But the solutions of improving their English are followed.

Encourage and cultivate children's interest in learning.

Albert Einstein said，“Interest is the best teacher.”No matter which subject， only do the students have strong interest， so that they could have enough energy to study and explore. And when we were a child， we could know this. Generally， when the students become interested in learning English， they can be proactive in learning， and they will give more attention to learning. Interest is a major contributor to English study. In that way， cultivating children's interest of English is necessary.

Enrich the teaching atmosphere of the class by using new teaching model.

Cultivate and improve the English reading for students through guiding them to read English in several steps. For example， the teacher could use media to play English reading and talking video in the class to attract the students' attention， showing the English reading's charming at the same time.

Build the life scene to give students space to use the vocabulary.

English has a few limitations in developing in China. For the students， they use the native language in daily communication. English is unfamiliar for them， and they have no place to show it， which point influences the learning initiative to a large extent， and does harm to students to master and use the English vocabulary. To solve this problem， teacher should make the infinite English study space for students. This is the life scene though combining teaching. On the one hand， let students could be real to learn and use the vocabulary in the process which students are familiar with the life environment. On the other hand， teacher should build a space which students communicate with other in English. For example， when we learn the teaching material， the Lesson6， How do you like this one？ This teaching content is about the everyday life shopping， the important vocabulary is with and the right using of without. So， the teacher change the class into the “large shopping mall”. It is a very lifestyle scene， so that students could imitate a scene when they go shopping. The difference is that they need to use English to communicate in the shopping mall. Students start to use English gradually to practice English to perform in the familiar environment everyday.

Cultivate students' good English study habit.

The habit is the most necessary condition for students to insist studying English. It is very important to cultivate students' good habit in their English study. At the beginning of studying English， teachers need to know the aims clearly and be strict to them， especially for their habits. For example， teacher should require students to dare to ask teacher questions that they don't understand. In this way， they could read and write correctly， and pronounce the words perfectly. Students should persist in reading English everyday， previewing the lesson before class and reviewing after class. Students are supposed to persist in speaking and remembering more in daily life. Good study habit can not work well without effective study methods. The effective study methods could make the learning efficiency， and students could study more easily. The effective study methods are like the key to open the door of the English knowledge treasure-house. In the English teaching process， teacher should be good at summarizing and let students practice effective methods by themselves.

Improve the teacher's own qualities of knowledge.

The new course reform requires teacher to focus on the students in the teaching process. But the effect of the teacher is significant. Every student wants to a humorous， cheerful and knowledgeable English teacher. So， effective teaching is a very important quality to the teacher. Teacher must keep studying and improving to enrich themselves. Only after keeping these habits， they can more and more influence the behaviors of students. Teacher should provide conditions and foundations for the students' development. So， teacher needs to have a strong sense of responsibility and profession to study， enriching himself constantly. In the teaching processes， teachers should find the knowledge points fully， which were in the teaching materials， and use the reference book or other something like the recent social news and e-newsletters. Not only do these， but also communicate more with colleagues about students， which way can also increase the teacher's deepness and scope of the knowledge.
