1 Introduction

In the construction projects,a large amount of building materials need to be purchased,and waterproof materials are an integral part of them. In the context of the rapid development of the current construction industry,the level of science and technology continues to increase,and the application of a large number of new materials,new technologies and new processes has made construction projects more complicated. In order to improve the project efficiency,some construction units did not meet the requirements for the quality of the waterproof materials,and the price was low. Leakage problems were inevitable in the subsequent use of the building,which seriously affected the quality and safety of the construction project. Therefore,it should be ensured from the source that the material performance and quality meet the engineering requirements [1].

2 Waterproof engineering features

The indoor waterproofing project includes waterproof construction of pools,bathrooms,kitchens,interior walls and floors. First of all,the indoor waterproofing project is not affected by the natural environment of the outside world,is less affected by natural light and temperature changes,and has less water pressure resistance,so the temperature requirement for the waterproof material is also small. Secondly,after the interior wall of the building is eroded by rainwater,there will be alternating wet and dry changes,and this effect will exist for a long time,so it is necessary to ensure the durability and non-hydrolysis of the waterproof material. Once again,the indoor waterproofing project will be affected by the construction space. It is difficult to keep the indoor air unobstructed. In addition,there are many pipes under the kitchen and the bathroom,and there are more yin and yang corners in the wall. Therefore,it is difficult to control the waterproof material during construction. It is difficult to guarantee the waterproof effect[2].

3 types of waterproof materials

The polymer self-adhesive waterproofing membrane is a waterproof material in the form of a coil made of asphalt or a polymer waterproof material. The polymer self-adhesive waterproofing membrane is a new waterproof material for construction engineering. It has low requirements on construction conditions,and is mainly composed of single-layer cold-bonding method. It has strong self-healing function and improves the reliability of waterproof system. It has enhanced waterproof performance,effectively resists the erosion and erosion of external water such as rainwater,and minimizes the negative impact of groundwater leakage on the overall quality of construction projects[3].

The construction workers will apply the waterproof coating evenly on the outside and inside of the building. Soon after,these waterproof coatings will naturally dry and become a thin waterproof film attached to the interior or exterior wall of the building. In addition to its strong elongation,crack resistance and resistance to penetration,the waterproof film also has the characteristics of simple and convenient construction process,low requirements on external temperature and convenient maintenance. It can effectively protect the building wall from rain,sewage and other erosion. The effect of waterproof coatings is mostly better than that of waterproof membranes.

As the name suggests,building sealing materials are materials used to solve the problem of cracks in buildings. Building sealing materials have strong plasticity,deformability and pressure resistance. Commonly used sealing materials mainly include silicone sealing paste,polyurethane sealing paste and the like.
