The Right Mindset is the Key to Success

The journey of life can not only be filled with flowers and laughter， it will certainly have thorns， steep cliffs， traps and all kinds of setbacks. In the face of difficulties and failures， different people will adopt different attitudes and then have different lives. In a word， a good mindset is of great importance to success.

If everyone is not satisfied with the society， what will it be like today？ If everyone is full of confidence in the world and treats the world with a vision of hope， what will tomorrow be like？ Although it is impossible to treat everything with a good temper in ones life， if you persist in living and doing things with optimism and handling work and study life with self-confidence， you will find out that how beautiful the world is and how valuable the life is. With good mood and hard-work， you will realize that success is just at hand.

However， when you are in a bad mood， you cant do anything. Only by changing your mood and facing it with a positive attitude can you do a good job. When Edison was looking for the right filament for the electric lamp， he did neither give up nor became frustrated and felt the future was dark even after experimenting with thousands of metal filaments. If he was beaten by the failures and cannot cheer himself up， could he still find out the tungsten filament？ It was his good attitude that helped him to get a large number of awards！

Good mentality can also help us overcome difficulties. When we meet setbacks and frustrations， it is the only way that help us to get rid of depression and pessimism.

A Chinese woman-writer met an old lady selling flowers on the streets in the United States who was wearing shabby clothes and looked weak， but had a big smile. The writer picked up a bunch of flowers and said， “You look so happy.” “Why not？ Everything is so beautiful.” “It seems that you can take care of all your troubles.” The writer added. However， the old ladys answer surprised the female writer. “When Jesus was crucified on Friday， it was the worst day in the world. But two days later it was Easter. So， when I encounter misfortune， I will wait for the third day， because then everything will be back to normal！” Who says that when difficulties come， there will only be frustration left？ The reason why the old lady is so poor but is so happy to sell flowers is that she has an optimistic heart. Believe in yourself， calm down and think about problems， you could do everything. You may be surprised to find that you have finally solved the problem unconsciously， and you won.

A positive attitude is to always be confident and think of yourself as an excellent person， instead of giving up on yourself and always thinking that you cant do it and that you will never be better.

A positive attitude means that no matter what happens， we can always think positively， instead of always thinking negatively.

How to build a positive attitude and a good mindset？ First of all， you should have the spirit of self-creation. You must have a firm idea and put it into action. If you encounter difficulties in the course of action， you must make up your mind to overcome all the difficulties， to improve yourself， and to realize your value. Secondly， we should learn to be grateful. Many of us often hear a lot of complaints in our daily life. In the working place， leaders often complain about the inferiors inadequate work， while the inferior complains about the superiors incomprehension. Anyway， life is always filled with complaint， instead of gratitude. Such a working or living state is too unfortunate for us to do better. In your work and life， you cant never neglect the significance of gratitude. If you have a feeling of gratitude in your heart， you will cherish many things in your work and life， and you will make the best use of these conditions. In addition， we should cultivate a positive attitude and learn to praise others. Appropriately complimenting with each other will enhance harmony， improve job performance， and your personal value will be affirmed by others in interpersonal communication. Only in this way can we control our emotions， get healthy body and mind， and release strong vitality and good influence of ourselves. Good mentality contributes to normal intelligence， strong will， good quality， sound personality， normal interpersonal relationship， active adaptation and transformation of the surrounded environment， smooth life path， and prolonged life span.

Achieving a better future requires a good mentality. The road of life is short so thats why we must keep an optimistic mind to please ourselves. To establish a good mindset， we must start from ourselves to correct our attitudes and live with a heart full of hope. If we carry too much emotional burden， we wont have enough energy to deal with todays problems. Only when we lightly put down the emotional burden and have a good mentality， we will get the way to a better future.
