隨著新課改在全國的不斷推進,高中英語教學無論是在教材教綱還是在教學內容、方法以及考核模式上都進行了很大的改革。在這一背景下,出現了許多與新課改相適應的教學模式,“三段六環導學”模式就是其中之一。“三段六環導學”模式通過教學方式和學習方式的轉變來提高課堂效率,培養學生的自主學習能力,進而促進學生的全面發展。
英語選修六第二單元語法:虛擬語氣The Subjunctive Mood(II)
1.了解虛擬語氣語法的基本規則。2.掌握虛擬語氣的解題思路和技巧。3.能運用語法規則解決有關虛擬語氣的練習。
Step1.Revision&Lead-in(導入新課)
Ask students to read a classical dialogue said by Zhou Xingchi in a movie Journey to the West and find out what kind of sentence structure this passage used.
I once let the truest love slip away from before my eyes without cherishing it only to find myself regretting when it was too late.No pain in the world comes near to this.If the God were to give me another chance,I would tell the girl three words:I love her!If our love had to be set a time limit,I wish it would be 10,000 years!
Step2.Learning Aims(目標展示)
基礎目標:掌握虛擬語氣的以下三種常見形式。
(1)as if/as though 從句虛擬語氣。(2)It is(high/about)time that后從句的虛擬語氣。(3)名詞性從句中的虛擬語氣。
能力目標:掌握虛擬語氣的以下重難點。
(1)辨別混合虛擬語氣。(2)培養解決相關虛擬語氣問題的思路,并學會在寫作中應用虛擬語氣。
Step3.Self-directed study(生生互動,自主學習)
Show students some sentences and ask them to analyze each sentence and summarize the rules of the Subjective Mood.
觀察并思考1:在as if/as though引導的從句中,當句意與現在、過去、將來事實相反時,從句分別用什么時態?
He looks as if he were ill.
He talks as if he had been to America before.
He opened his mouth as if he would say something.
歸納總結:
1.Ask students to finish the related exercises in groups.
2.Show time.Compete with groups.
Step6.Summary&Homework(課堂小結,布置作業)
1.Summary:What we have learned in this class?
2.Homework:Finish the error correcting on page 62 in your workbook.

觀察并思考 2:在 It is(about/high)time that...句型中,當句意與現在、過去、將來事實相反時,從句使用什么時態?
It is high time that we had/should have a rest.
歸 納 總 結 :It is (high/about) time that sb did/should do...(should不可省略)
觀察并思考3:完成練習,思考that引導什么從句?哪些名詞性從句中要用虛擬語氣?
His suggestion is that I_____(have)a good rest.
It is demanded that we_____(get)up early.
歸納總結:在表示堅持、命令、建議、要求的詞相關的名詞性從句中謂語動詞用虛擬語氣should do,should可以省略。
觀察并思考4:翻譯例句并思考that引導什么從句。
1.It is important that we(should)master a foreign language.
2.It is a great pity that he(should)be so careless.
歸納總結:在句型“It is+adj+that...”和“It is+n+that...”中,若表達驚訝、惋惜、遺憾、理應如此等意義時,that引導的名詞性從句中用虛擬語氣should do,should可以省略。
Step4.Guidance&Discussion(師導生學,合作探究)
難點:什么是錯綜虛擬條件句?小組討論:翻譯以下虛擬條件句,并討論從句與主句的時間是否一致?分別使用了什么時態?
If you had followed my advice yesterday,you would be able to finish the work now.(從句是對_______的虛擬,主句是對______的虛擬。)
學法指導:當if虛擬條件句與主句時間不一致時,這類句子稱為錯綜虛擬語氣,主句和從句的謂語動詞根據其相應的時間而定。(“各歸各”原則)
Step5.Standard evaluation&Group work(達標檢測、隨堂演練)
本節課的教學改變了傳統的英語語法教學方式,以“三段六環導學”模式為抓手構建了一堂高效的語法教學課堂。學生通過自主學習、合作探究、歸納拓展的方式掌握了虛擬語氣的語法項目和規則,并能靈活運用各種虛擬句式完成相關的語法練習,完成了本節課的教學任務,達到了教學目的。學生增強了自主學習的意識,為以后的學習和發展奠定了基礎。
