Saving the Earth

As time goes by, humans are making the Earth sick. People cut down too many trees and leave more and more rubbish here and there. Factories let out their waste without doing anything to it. All of these have caused many serious problems. More and more good land has turned into deserts. Rivers and lakes have been polluted and the water in them becomes dirty and poisonous. What’s more, the air is less clean, even the temperature on the Earth is higher than before. The Earth is sick now. What should we do to save her?

First, we should stop people from pouring waste directly into the air or rivers.

Second, planting more trees and grass is a good idea. It can stop the wind from blowing the earth[土壤]away. Besides, forests can make the air clean and fresh.

From now on, we should do something useful to protect the Earth. It is our home and saving the Earth is our duty.

My Hometown in 2030

My name is Feng Kaiqiang. I’m a middle school student. I live in Gan Yu.What will my hometown be like in 2030? I think my hometown will be more beautiful than now.

In 2030, my hometown will have more tall buildings. There will be fewer cars and buses. We will take subways more. The environment will be better and there will be more trees and parks. What’s more, I think my hometown will be cleaner and there will be less pollution. The streets will be clean and everyone will be happy. Kids won’t go to school anymore, because they will study at home with computers.

My First Flight

Last summer, I went to visit my grandparents by air. I was too excited to fall asleep the night before, because I had never taken a plane before! On the day of the flight, my parents and I went to the airport early. After we checked in, a stewardess took me to the seat in the plane. Half an hour later, the plane took off and I was soon in the air. Luckily, my seat was near the window, so I could enjoy the splendid[極佳的]view outside! But before long, I was so tired that I couldn’t help sleeping! When I woke up, the plane had just landed. It was a pleasant trip, only the time had been too short!
