A Study on the Artistic Characteristics of Li Bai "s Poems

Abstract：Li Bai is the famous poet of the Tang Dynasty. His works are widely praised. Li Bai represents the peak of the development of Chinese classical poetry. He is one of the greatest classical poets in the history of Chinese ancient poetry. This article will combine Li Bai 's life experience to explore the artistic characteristics of his poetry.

Li Bai experienced political setbacks， so he was cynical. He drunk and wrote poetry for fun all day. he became one of the greatest classical poet in the history of ancient poetry. His works set off a significant impact in China's Tang and Song dynasties. He showed strong romantic feelings and amazing creativity. His eclectic writing techniques have a very strong rendering power.

1. romantic feelings

Li Bai， as the most romantic poet of the Tang Dynasty， had rich life experience. In his juvenile idealism stage， the poet has a goal of life， full of enthusiasm. Then his works have a positive and progressive significance， and give a momentum on the shock. But when he entered the bureaucracy ， because of political setbacks， his political ideals cannot be realized. He was difficult to have political action. His creative arts and sentimental sentiment began to change dramatically. During this period his poetry was more tragic， and showed his strong personality and the pursuit of unique artistic characteristics. He drunk day by day to paralyzed himself， and insisted on using romantic literature to create poetry works， which is the most important artistic features of his creation. Such as poetry， "Wang Tianmen Shan"， the first two sentences vividly describe the spectacular scenery of Tianmen mountain and the vast flood of the Yangtze River water. He outlined a beautiful and spectacular natural landscape for the readers and could not help but feel the nature of the gods. The description of the latter two sentences makes the whole picture bright and clear， but also gives a rich imagination and distant taste.

2. distinctive personality， subjective strong

Li Bai especially payed attention to express personal feelings， self-publicity. He did not care about other people's views. Even in the official field abjection， he did not change the original intention of art. Although he did not have the opportunity to cast political power in the officialdom， his attitude had undergone tremendous changes， but he still encouraged to see through them， to be a happy outsider. Li Bai saw the darkness of the officialdom， felt his sense of dishonor in the political struggle. Li Bai had a cavity and talent into the official field， but always could not get the court's reuse， which made him unable to display his political ambitions. He did not care about living in a constant wave， but pursued an independent happy world of emotional spirits， expressing his strong personality and subjectivity. In short， in different stages of life， Li Bai's works had different artistic characteristics， but even if the official field abjection， he did not give up his original intention of art， always adhere to personalized writing， bravely express his true feelings， adhere to his own creative path.

3. the art of language exaggeration

Exaggeration is the use of very common rhetoric in human language. It refers to the author's use of rich imagination， on the basis of objective reality， to exaggerate or reduce the image， nature or degree of things， to highlight some of the characteristics of things， to enhance the expression of rhetoric. Exaggeration can cause readers a wealth of imagination and a strong resonance， and enhance a sense of power and language literary and artistic works. Li Bai 's poems are extensively used exaggeration. Through the language of extreme art exaggeration， it showed the poet's eyes of the natural majestic momentum and the inherent leap of life tension， also the performance of the Tang Dynasty poet warm and uninhibited personality characteristics.

4. conclusion

Li Bai is a talented person， in his works， the emotion is strong， very appealing， while imagined rich and both deep and subtle. China's poetry has a long history， developed to the Tang Dynasty， art reached an unparalleled peak. Li Bai is one of the most dazzling a star in Tang Dynasty. Li Bai set a model for poetry creation， not only affected many of the poet， but also inspired the descendants of literary creation.
