1. What about this dictionary？

這本字典呢？

What about ... ？為常用句型，表示“……怎么樣呢？”“……又如何呢？”也可以說，How about ... ？該句型的具體用法如下：

（1）征求對方的看法或意見。

What about this bike？

這輛自行車怎么樣？

What about his playing football？

他的足球踢得怎么樣？

（2）詢問情況或打聽消息。當(dāng)對方對談的事情不明確，需要詢問清楚時，可用這一句型。

I’d like a cup of tea. What about you？

我想喝杯茶，你呢？

— I want to talk to you.

我想要和你談話。

— What about？

談什么？

（3）寒暄時用作承接上下文的轉(zhuǎn)折語。

I’m a student. What about you？

我是學(xué)生，你呢？

Our English teacher is good. What about yours？

我們的英語老師很好，你們的（英語老師）怎么樣？

安娜，謝謝你的幫助。

—You’re welcome.

別客氣。

（1）for prep. 為了；給；對，后面接名詞和代詞。如：

What can I do for you？

我能為你做些什么嗎？

We study hard for our motherland.

我們?yōu)樽鎳W(xué)習(xí)。

This cake is for my mother.

這塊蛋糕是給媽媽的。

（2）thank you for加名詞表示“為某事/某物而感謝某人”。如：

Thank you for your father’s book.

謝謝你爸爸的書。

（3）help在此為名詞，意為“幫助”，其作動詞時有如下用法：

help to do sth幫助做某事

Could you help to open the window？

你能幫忙打開窗戶嗎？

help sb to do sth意為“幫助某人做某事”，不定式符號to可以省略。

He often helps me to study English.

=He often helps me study English.

他經(jīng)常幫助我學(xué)習(xí)英語。

help sb with sth意為“幫助某人做某事”或“在……方面幫助某人”。有時在上下文意思清楚時，與help sb （to） do sth意思相近。

You can help me learn English.

=You can help me with my English.

你可以幫我學(xué)習(xí)英語。

help常用句型：

Could you help me， please？

你能幫助我嗎？

May I help you？/ Can I help you？

我能幫幫你嗎？

（4）welcome adj. 受歡迎的，表示允許對方做某事或使用某物（其后常接介詞to，這里的to既可用作介詞，其后接名詞或代詞；也可用作不定式符號，其后接動詞原形），意為“請自便；隨便你；你盡管可以……”。如：

You’re welcome to English Corner.

隨時歡迎你來英語角。

You’re welcome to ask question.

隨時歡迎你提問題。

You are welcome. 表示“不客氣，不用謝”，一般在對方很友好地道謝的時候回答，有時也可省去You are，而只說Welcome。如：

— Thanks a lot， Mr. Smith.

多謝您，史密斯先生。

— （You are） welcome.

不用謝。

GrammAr focus

名詞性物主代詞

名詞性物主代詞具有名詞的性質(zhì)，可以單獨使用，在句子中可以作主語、賓語或表語。如：

This is my pen. Yours is on the desk.

這是我的鋼筆，你的在書桌上。（作主語）

The green bike is his.

綠色的自行車是他的。（作表語）

名詞性物主代詞具有“形容詞性物主代詞 + 名詞”的作用。如：

The bike is his. It’s not mine. （mine = my bike）

這輛自行車是他的，不是我的。

名詞性物主代詞與形容詞性物主代詞的區(qū)別：

形容詞性物主代詞起形容詞的作用，用在名詞前。

This is my book.

這是我的書。

We love our motherland.

我們熱愛我們的祖國。

注意：在使用名詞性物主代詞時，必須有特定的語言環(huán)境，也就是要省略的名詞大家已經(jīng)知道、已經(jīng)提起過。

It’s hers.

是她的。

（單獨使用大家不知是怎么回事，不可以這樣用。）

There is a book. It’s hers.

這兒有本書。是她的（書）。

（hers = her book）

只有上文提及了某個名詞，才會知道名詞性物主代詞指代的事物。

本句是一個祈使句，表示建議。如：

Ask your friend for help.

向你的朋友尋求幫助。

ask sb （not） to do sth讓某人做（不做）某事

His mother asks him not to go out at weekends.

他媽媽讓他周末不要出去。

ask sb for sth 向某人要某物

The boy asks me for some apples.

這男孩向我要一些蘋果。

2. Some keys are in Classroom 7E.

幾把鑰匙在教室7E。

some意為“一些”，可作形容詞和代詞，它常修飾可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)，如：some books一些書，some boys一些男孩；也可修飾不可數(shù)名詞，如：some water一些水，some tea一些茶葉。some常用在肯定句中。如：

I have some English books. They are my best friends.

我有一些英語書，它們是我最好的朋友。

I have some bread here.

我這兒有些面包。

但在表示建議、反問、請求的疑問句中，或期望得到肯定回答時也用some。如：

Would you like some coffee？

你要不要來點咖啡？

What about some fruit juice？

來點果汁如何？

3. I lost my school ID card. I must find it.

我弄丟了我的學(xué)生卡。我必須找到它。

（1）lost v. 遺失，丟失，lose的過去式，指因事故、過失、不幸、死亡等原因失去擁有的東西等，含有不能再找回來的意思。如：

I lost my pen.

我丟了我的鋼筆。

He lost a leg.

他失去了一條腿。

（2）must 必須，情態(tài)動詞，后接動詞原形，無人稱和數(shù)的變化。它強調(diào)個人主觀感覺“有必要，必須”。如：

I must study hard.

我必須努力學(xué)習(xí)。

（3）find v. 找到；發(fā)現(xiàn)，多指偶然發(fā)現(xiàn)、碰到，強調(diào)尋找的結(jié)果，后接名詞。如：

I can’t find my book anywhere.

我到處都找不到我的書。

I can’t find the keys.

我找不到鑰匙了。

4. Call me at 685-6034.

打我電話685-6034。

（1）call作動詞，意為“（給……）打電話”。后面常接人的名詞或代詞，表示“給某人打電話”。如：

Call Jim， please.

請給吉姆打電話。

call可以直接接電話號碼，表示“撥打某個電話號碼”。如：

Call 1394567， please.

請撥打電話1394567。

call sb at + 號碼，表示“撥打某個號碼找某人”。如：

Please call Mary at 4357689.

請撥打電話4357689找瑪麗。

（2）at prep，表示“在……”，可接地點、門牌號數(shù)、時間點。如：
