Is asking for the Wi-Fi password the first thing you do when you walk into a restaurant or cafe？ For many the answer is yes， for others it may be the second thing they do. In any case， in an era of logging in wherever we go， many people use sensitive information on the invisible Net， posing a risk to their finances and personal safety.

Here， three students share their experience of being tricked or having their personal information stolen. Whether its chatting on QQ， shopping on Taobao or connecting to a “free” Wi-Fi network， not being careful can have serious consequences.

下文中，三名同學(xué)訴說了自己上當(dāng)受騙或個(gè)人信息被盜的經(jīng)歷。不管你是QQ聊天，還是淘寶購(gòu)物，抑或是連接到免費(fèi)無線網(wǎng)絡(luò)，一不小心都會(huì)造成嚴(yán)重的后果。

Yang Lina， 22， a senior majoring in Chinese literature at Shandong Normal University， chatted to her niece online during the summer vacation. “My niece was studying in Germany at the time. When I asked when she would come back， she said she wanted to fly back next week but that her bank account had been blocked and that she couldnt get any cash，” said Yang.

22歲的楊麗娜是來自山東師范大學(xué)中文系的大四學(xué)生。暑假期間她與侄女在網(wǎng)上聊天。她說：“那時(shí)我侄女正在德國(guó)讀書。我問她什么時(shí)候回國(guó)，她說她想下周坐飛機(jī)回來，但是她的銀行賬戶被凍結(jié)了，取不出現(xiàn)金。”

“She asked me to transfer 10，000 yuan to her classmates account， and not to tell her parents as they would worry about her. She launched a video chat and I could see her. Whats more， her behavior was the same as usual. For instance， she always called Bonn ‘a(chǎn) small village，” said Yang.

楊麗娜還說：“她讓我轉(zhuǎn)1萬元錢到她同學(xué)的賬戶上，并要求對(duì)她父母保密，以防他們擔(dān)心。她發(fā)起視頻聊天，我可以看到她。此外，她的舉止和往常一樣，例如她總是把‘波恩叫作‘小村莊。”

Yang transferred 10，000 yuan to the account. But later， when her niece appeared again， she realized she had been tricked.

楊麗娜往指定的賬戶里轉(zhuǎn)了1萬元錢。但后來，侄女再次上線時(shí)，她才意識(shí)到自己被騙了。

Liu Wenjiang， 18， a sophomore majoring in automotive engineering at Wuhan Technical College of Communications， found a new laptop selling for only 1，600 yuan on Taobao.

18歲的武漢交通職業(yè)學(xué)院汽車工程系大二學(xué)生劉文江在淘寶上發(fā)現(xiàn)一款售價(jià)只需1600元的全新筆記本電腦。

“It was only half the market price，” Liu said. “I talked to the seller online and he or she sent me a link asking me to do a favor by paying one yuan for an item and leaving a good rating for the store. When I had done this I could take advantage of the offer， the seller said.”

他說：“這個(gè)價(jià)格是市場(chǎng)價(jià)的一半。我和網(wǎng)店店主聊天，對(duì)方發(fā)給我一個(gè)鏈接，讓我?guī)兔ε南乱患辉X的商品并留下好評(píng)。店主說，完成后我便可以享受該優(yōu)惠價(jià)。”

The link opened a website that was so similar to the Taobao website that Liu didnt suspect a thing. He typed in his bank account and password according to the prompts.

When the website told Liu there was an error， he asked the seller what the problem was， but the seller didnt reply.

A few minutes later， he discovered that 2，000 yuan had been taken from his bank account.

Ren Zhijiong， 24， a fresh graduate who works as a marketing executive in Shenzhen， used his cell phone to access the Wi-Fi at a Starbucks cafe.

24歲的任志炯剛剛大學(xué)畢業(yè)，現(xiàn)在深圳一家公司任銷售主管。他曾在一家星巴克咖啡店里用手機(jī)無線上網(wǎng)。

“I found two Wi-Fi networks， one called Starbucks and the other Starbucks2. The first one required me to register on a website， but the second one didnt require a password. So I connected to the second one， and paid for an air ticket through my mobile banking app. But when I tried to buy a movie ticket through another app， I found I couldnt log on to my bank account，” said Ren.

他說：“我發(fā)現(xiàn)有兩個(gè)無線網(wǎng)絡(luò)連接：一個(gè)是‘Starbucks，另一個(gè)則是‘Starbucks2。第一個(gè)無線網(wǎng)需要我在網(wǎng)站注冊(cè)，而第二個(gè)則不需要密碼，因此我選擇了第二個(gè)網(wǎng)絡(luò)，并用手機(jī)銀行應(yīng)用程序買了一張機(jī)票。但當(dāng)我想使用另一個(gè)應(yīng)用程序來購(gòu)買電影票時(shí)，我發(fā)現(xiàn)我無法登入自己的銀行賬戶。”

“I called my bank and they told me that my password had been changed. When I asked the staff at Starbucks， they told me that they didnt provide a Wi-Fi network called Starbucks2.”

“我打電話給銀行，被告知密碼已被更改。我詢問星巴克員工，他們表示并未提供Starbucks2這個(gè)無線網(wǎng)絡(luò)。”

Always set up a complicated password for your accounts. Its best to include special characters in the password， as this makes it harder for hackers to decipher.

賬號(hào)密碼一定要復(fù)雜。密碼最好包含特殊字符，這樣黑客就難以破譯了。

Most viruses come from illegal websites， USB sticks and mobile hard drives， so you should run a virus scan before you use them. Pay attention that you dont point the camera at your keyboard.

Its best to use a U aegis， or a dynamic verification code for every bank transaction. With these precautions， fraudsters cant take your money even if they know your password.
