學生風采展示板：廣州，我永遠的家（上）

華南理工大學附屬實驗學校的初一同學們用文字書寫了對廣州這座城市的濃濃愛意。在本期和下期里，就讓我們跟著他們的文字一起來表達對廣州的愛吧！

Last winter holiday， I went to my hometown， and my sister asked me， “What do you think about your city？ Tell me in one word.” I thought for a long time. At last， I said “free.”

Guangzhou is an open and free southern city. 22 years ago， my father went to Guangzhou and wanted to build his new life here. Now he has his own business and a happy family. Everyone in Guangzhou can make their dream come true，if they can work hard and try their best. There are also a lot of foreigners in Guangzhou. They love Guangzhou because Guangzhou is friendly to everyone. You can speak Mandarin，English and Cantonese in Guangzhou.

In Guangzhou， the flower city， you can see flowers everywhere. And Guangzhou is famous for its delicious food. There are more than 100 dim sum you can choose for breakfast. Everyone can fnd their favorite food here. This is Guangzhou， a wonderful， lovely and comfortable city. I love this city.

I live in a famous and beautiful city in China. Its name is Guangzhou. I live here every year， every day. It's so beautiful.

It is full of my happy time. There are many department stores and famous buildings here. The department stores are always full of customers.

If you walk along a street， you will see some trees. They are green and you can hear birds singing in the sunshine. Go into a small restaurant， have a cup of cofee and read a book. That's the perfect way to enjoy a quiet afternoon.

The Pearl River is one of the most famous places of interest in Guangzhou. It is Guangzhou's “Mother River.” At night， the tall buildings by the river light up the sky in every direction. The lights of the buildings turn the Pearl River into a colorful sky with thousands of diamonds. You will never forget it if you see it.

Another famous place of interest is the Canton Tower. It lies in the center of Guangzhou. It is one of the tallest buildings in China. Every year， the Canton Tower attracts a large number of tourists to visit Guangzhou.

This is my lovely city， Guangzhou. It is not only my hometown， but also my favorite city. I love it so much. Welcome to Guangzhou and stay here. Hopefully you will love it， too！

Day by day， the city where we live in is renewing all the time. I love the city I live in. It's not that it is beautiful， but it's the place we belong to. And it should be called—home city.

I live in Guangzhou， China， the place which breeds millions of lives. One of its characters is that it is always full of fragrance and elegance. It is called “the Flower City.” We can see fowers everywhere and use their smiles to decorate the whole city. Every petal of them is so delicate and tender that it makes Guangzhou more charming.

You can see fowers along the road， around the house and all over the park. Not every fower is as beautiful as a rose， or as fragrant as a gardenia［梔子花］. Though not every one of them is perfect， every one of them has its own beauty，just like us. Although we're imperfect［有缺陷的］， we live in one city with happiness， and people among us are nice. This is Guangzhou.

廣州土生土長的13歲少年們，在剛接到“My City”這個作文話題時，種種迷茫和不知所措傾涌而出。對于最熟悉的地方，用第二語言貌似難以言述她那最美好的一面。

在撰寫文章前，我要求他們都先聽聽最近網絡特別流行的《南山南》廣州粵語版。聽完后，他們開始用三天的時間整理自己知識庫存中能用到的副詞、動詞詞組、連接詞，以及優美的句子。然后，他們開始了創作，撰寫自己心目中的廣州。

談到廣州，幾乎離不開“the Flower City、the Pearl River、Canton Tower、delicious dim sum和Baiyun Hill”等字眼。

但在孩子們的描寫中，我們更是看到了廣州的兩個面：既充滿著忙碌的節奏氛圍，又縈繞著和平寧靜的舒適感。有“逛花街就能好運一整年”的說法，也有包容一切、四季滿載花香的感慨。珠江河岸的燈光能把整條珠江都渲染成斑斕的天空，像裝點了成千顆鉆石般耀眼。而廣州塔，在他們眼中更像是一個苗條又迷人的女孩，穿著七彩繽紛的裙子。或許沒有恢弘的氣勢，沒有壯麗的景色，但這是他們成長的地方。他們喜愛這個地方，并發誓永遠愛著這個地方—廣州。
