目前很多鄉鎮中學英語閱讀教學還比較趨向于學習性閱讀課—語言的閱讀,語法的閱讀,詞匯的閱讀。這樣導致教師普遍為了引導學生注意語言形式的分析理解而忽略對意義內容的綜合把握,因而學生對閱讀的興趣不高,閱讀教學的效果也不夠理想。要契合課改重點,激發學生閱讀興趣,我們倡導任務型閱讀—信息閱讀,思維閱讀,體驗閱讀和欣賞閱讀。進行初中英語任務型閱讀的幾個步驟有:閱讀前的準備—話題導入、激活背景知識,引入新知識;閱讀中—任務環(多個任務組合);閱讀后—語言聚焦(分析和實踐目標語)。以NSE Book 1七年級上冊Module 4 “Healthy food” Unit 2 “Is your food and drink healthy?”為例進行闡述。
Step 1 Pre-reading (10 minutes)
話題導入
1. Show a picture of a fat unhappy girl. Ask “Why is the girl unhappy? Whats the problem of the girl”?
2. Group Discussion about how to keep fit.
3. Vocabulary competition.
呈現新知
1. Presentation
Present key words and sentences by showing pictures on the screen.
2. A small quiz: determine some statements about healthy eating and fatness.
3. Provide words about the passage. Students predict the main idea of the passage.
Step 2 While-reading(20 minutes)
Task 1:Skimming. Do the first reading and skim the answers to the following questions.
Q1: What is the topic sentence of the second paragraph?
Q2: If you want to stay healthy, what rules should you follow?
Task 2: Scanning
Read the passage and complete the table: Healthy food and drink, Unhealthy food and drink (Activity 3)
Task 3:Questions: Students raise questions according to the answers.
Answer 1: Eat lots of food and vegetables, drink juice, water, tea and milk, have a god breakfast everyday, eat noodles or rice.
(According to the answer, students will raise this question: What should we eat and drink to stay healthy?)
Answer 2: Eating a lot of meat
(Students question: What is not good for children?)
Answer 3: Eating too much sugar
(Students question: What is bad for children?)
Answer 4: Carrots and sweet potatoes
(Students question: What is good for childrens eyes?)
Answer 5: Milk, cheese and fish
(Students question: What is good for childrens teeth?)
Answer 6: Have lots of chicken soup
(Students question: When you feel tired, what can you do?)
Answer 7: Ice cream, hamburgers and Cola
(Students question: What is not healthy food and drink?)
Task 4:Students write a mind map of the passage and retell the passage.
Step 3 Post-reading(10 minutes)
Task 1:Work in groups to use the correct form of the words in the text to complete the passage. (Activity 4, P 23)
Task 2:Writing: grammar focus: Activity 6, P 23, Look at the sentences and join the sentences with “but”.
Juice is a healthy drink. Cola isnt a healthy drink.
Noodles are healthy food. Hamburgers arent healthy food.
Meat, vegetables and fruit are healthy food. Cola, ice cream and hamburgers arent healthy food and drink.
Chocolate is delicious. Too much chocolate isnt good for you.
Task 3:Complete the survey.
Report about what your partner have for three meals and give him/her some advice on healthy eating and drinking.
