10月9日，市委書記袁家軍會見了怡和集團執行主席班哲明·凱瑟克一行。

怡和集團董事許立慶、孫燕軍，香港置地集團公司執行董事凌常峰，市領導陳新武、張國智參加。

袁家軍代表市委、市政府對班哲明·凱瑟克一行來渝深化合作表示熱烈歡迎，感謝怡和集團長期以來對重慶發展的大力支持。袁家軍說，當前重慶正在全面貫徹中共二十大精神，扎實推動成渝地區雙城經濟圈、西部陸海新通道等國家戰略落地實施，加快構建現代化產業體系，積極推進數字重慶、美麗重慶建設。深化渝港合作為企業在渝發展提供了廣闊空間。希望雙方發揮各自優勢、深化溝通交流，共享發展機遇，圍繞建設國際消費中心城市、推動城市有機更新、拓展國際市場等領域加強合作，實現更高水平的互利共贏。

班哲明·凱瑟克介紹了怡和集團在渝發展情況。他說，重慶是一座開放進取的城市。怡和集團與重慶有著深厚歷史淵源和高度戰略契合，將進一步堅定在渝投資信心，發揮自身優勢，整合優質資源，積極助力重慶高質量發展，攜手共創美好明天。

On October 9， Yuan Jiajun， Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee， met the delegation of Ben Keswick， Executive Chairman of Jardine Matheson.

Those present also included David Hsu and Steve Sun， Directors of Jardine Matheson， Ling Changfeng， Executive Director of Hongkong Land， and municipal leaders Chen Xinwu and Zhang Guozhi.

On behalf of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee and Chongqing Municipal Government， Yuan Jiajun extended a warm welcome to Ben Keswick and his delegation for their visit to deepen cooperation with Chongqing and thanked Jardine Matheson for its long-standing support for the citys development. He noted that Chongqing is implementing the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress on all fronts， putting into practice national strategies such as the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-Hub Mega-Region and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor （ILSTC）， accelerating the building of a modern industrial system， and pushing forward with the Digital Chongqing Initiative and the Beautiful Chongqing Initiative. He stated that closer Chongqing-Hong Kong cooperation has generated a vast space for business growth in Chongqing. He hoped that the two sides give full play to their respective advantages， deepen communication and exchange， share development opportunities， and strengthen cooperation in areas such as the building of an international consumption center， urban renewal， and the expansion of the global market， to achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes at a higher level.

Ben Keswick briefed on Jardine Mathesons development in Chongqing. He mentioned that Chongqing， an open-minded and enterprising city， has historical ties and shares many common strategic interests with Jardine Matheson. As such， Jardine Matheson will be more determined to invest in Chongqing and leverage its strengths to integrate quality resources to contribute to the citys high-quality development and brighter future.

Personnel from Jardine Matheson and heads of relevant districts and municipal departments also attended the meeting.
