Construction Innovation of Traditional Sports Culture from the Perspective of Sports New Connotations

Ⅰ.Innovative ideas for national characteristics of culture realizing traditional sports culture construction

1. Expanding national spirits reflects New connotations of traditional Chinese sports culture construction

The core of the innovative construction and development of traditional Chinese sports culture lies in the concentrated embodiment of national spirits, giving full optimization to the development environment of sports culture construction and reflecting the development goal of traditional Chinese sports. Specific exploration should be conducted from this angle to carry forward the national spirits of tolerance, self-motivation, and daring to challenge and to improve the connotations of traditional sports culture in reflecting national integrity.With the ever-increasing speed of development along with that of society and the times, traditional sports culture has essentially subverted its inherent meaning to focus on the importance of traditional culture and at the same time integrate national spirits into its own development, so as to ensure national spirits to be based on the platform of the inheritance and development of traditional sports culture, fully express the more in-depth meaning reflected by the culture, and facilitate traditional sports culture to convey the will of national development as well as national characters.〔1〕This marks the new development goal of contemporary traditional sports culture.Moreover, it provides sufficient development impetus for realizing the establishment of contemporary traditional sports culture as well as strong ideological and spiritual driving forces for the construction of the new connotations of traditional Chinese sports culture in order to comprehensively upgrade the requirements for the development of the richness and nationality of traditional culture’s inherent meaning.

2. Carrying forward national humanity philosophy forms a new definition of traditional Chinese sports culture

Analyzing from social humanity development philosophy, social humanity includes a wide range of inherent elements, which not only lie in social rectitude and morality, but also reflect social and cultural phenomena. Therefore, the development of humanity and morality in traditional Chinese sports culture can be fully reflected, laying a solid foundation of traditional national humanity for the new pattern construction of traditional Chinese sports culture development, and thus realizing the all-round sublimation of the inherent meaning of traditional sports culture. This is the overall progress of the construction of traditional sports to keep a foothold in the social and cultural development of today; to conduct effective integration of its inherent constituting elements for traditional humanity development; and to form coordinated development with the inherent constituting elements of traditional sports. It is expected to facilitate the development of traditional sports culture facing history, facing the cultural development environment and facing the overall progress of social humanity development, highlight the new goals and new thoughts of contemporary sports culture construction, and eventually realize the goal of establishing the new normal of the construction and development of traditional sports culture.〔2〕This is the foundation of thought and direction innovation of traditional Chinese sports culture construction and will improve the construction of today’s traditional sports culture to form a new situation of development, thus satisfying and realizing the new requirements and new goals for the cause of social sports to develop with the times.

3. Exploring social responsibilities of national sports performs element complement for traditional sports culture

The development of traditional Chinese culture as an integral part of world culture is a radical force that drives the formation of social culture and human civilization. Therefore, it can be concluded that the cause development of Chinese sports shoulders significant social responsibilities. By conducting specific analyses on this level, it is known that the social responsibilities of national sports should be taken as another new development direction for the construction of traditional sports culture while exploring innovative development thoughts in this respect; at the same time of reflecting the national characteristics of traditional sports culture, its social responsibilities should also be explored in an in-depth sense, so as to enable traditional sports culture to become an important driving force for the all-round development of world culture. Keeping a foothold on the social responsibilities of national sports mainly conveys its connotations in two respects: first, the national spirits and national characters of traditional sports determine its development to inherit traditional culture;〔3〕second, national sentiment reveals that traditional sports possesses the historical responsibilities to help improve social development. From these two aspects, it is summarized that traditional Chinese sports gives a comprehensive expression of the cultural thoughts, social humanity and many other respects in “sports” with respect to the inheritance and development of traditional culture. This is precisely the direction of specific element complement for traditional Chinese sports culture construction, and can realize national spirits, national social responsibilities, and national sentiment to be passed down and inherited by traditional sports culture.

Ⅱ.Characterizing new goals of traditional sports culture construction with development reality of regional culture

1. Building diversified symbiosis goal of traditional sports culture with regional folk culture and customs as foundation

As an important carrier of traditional Chinese sports culture, regional folk culture contains relatively high-value inherent sports culture, which can express the national spirits of ceaseless vitality and self-reliance of regional nationalities. Starting from the development characteristics of regional folklore, it can be summarized that folk culture is diversified and complex to a certain extent, while the traditional and developmental value represented tend to be more specific. Taking regional folk culture and customs as an important joint point combined with the general laws of the development of traditional Chinese sports culture and conducting targeted and systematic exploration on the constituting elements of traditional sports culture can enable traditional Chinese sports culture to base itself on the general characteristics of the development of regional folklore to effectively excavate the national elements in traditional sports culture. By this means, as for the constituting elements of traditional Chinese sports culture, the all-round realization of its diversified development goal could be guaranteed, providing a favorable entry point for further exploration about traditional Chinese sports culture.〔4〕In light of this, to comprehensively understand regional folk culture and customs and effectively develop the traditional cultural value they reflect become a key point for the Goal of building diversified symbiosis of traditional sports culture. This is the core for traditional Chinese sports culture to focus on the development of national customs and attain all-round sublimation of the inherent qualities of the culture, so as to express the new characteristics of sustainable and ecological development of traditional Chinese sports culture construction to satisfy the new requirement for the development of today’s traditional sports culture.

2. Summarizing phased construction goals of traditional sports culture with the development of regional cultural industries as key

The development of regional cultural industries exerts a critical driving effect on the progress of Chinese sports cause, and serves as an irreplaceable driving force for the rise and development of the Chinese sports cultural industry. The inherent meaning contained by Chinese sports culture is more profound, forming an active complement whether in the aspect of social humanity or that of social culture, while the all-round development of regional cultural industries is of corresponding promotion significance during the development of traditional Chinese sports culture, providing regional traditional cultural elements with corresponding driving effect on the development of regional national sports in the process of forming effective inheritance and development. In addition, the national humanity spirits, national ethos, and the awareness of national responsibility reflected in regional national traditional sports appear to be more specific, and thus lay a solid foundation for the realization of the developmental goal of traditional Chinese sports culture construction. In accordance with the basic paces of the development of regional cultural industries, phased construction can be set in the development goals of national traditional sports culture, so as to adapt to the new trends of the development of today’s traditional culture and give profound expression to the inherent social and national meaning of traditional Chinese sports culture.

3. Constructing new normal of traditional sports culture with development status of regional social and humanity as focus

The development status of regional social humanity determines the process of social cultural development, and meanwhile reflects the degree of people’s understanding of culture in different regional societies. Through specific analyses with a combination of the development status of social humanity, regional humanity development characteristics and their basic elements can be obtained.〔5〕The construction of traditional sports culture should proceed in an all-round way based on the basic characteristics and important constituting elements of regional social human development, so as to closely integrate the humanistic characteristics of regional traditional sports with the trend of social human development and fully summarize the intrinsic inheritance and development value of regional traditional culture, thus laying a sound regional social humanistic foundation for building the new direction of diversified development of sports culture. This is the core element for conducting in-depth exploration for traditional Chinese sports culture at an essential level, from which the in-depth expression of the social meaning and social value richly existing in traditional sports culture can continuously provide new driving forces for the innovative development of traditional sports culture. In virtue of the development status of regional social humanity, the emphases of traditional sports culture construction can also conduct effective transformation, making the all-round development of social humanity a new direction of construction. As a result, a solid regional social humanistic foundation can be laid for promoting the construction paces of the new normal of traditional Chinese sports culture development and eventually achieving a new high in the humanity philosophy construction of traditional sports culture. In addition, the inherent effect and value of human development in traditional sports culture can be highlighted.

Ⅲ.Conclusion

From the aspect of the development direction of traditional Chinese sports culture, it can be seen that the innovative points of traditional Chinese sports culture construction lie in the effective integration of traditional sports culture. In the meanwhile, the diversity and historical development characteristics should be improved scientifically with respect to social humanity concepts and the reality of the regional cultural development of different nationalities. These will drive traditional Chinese sports culture to face up to the development laws of traditional culture, effectively combine the development trends of social environments to conduct deeper exploration over the new connotations of sports culture development, thus laying a solid innovative development foundation for the new thoughts and new normal of the construction and development of traditional Chinese sports culture.

This paper suggests effectively integrating national spirits, national ethos and social responsibilities through the inheritance and development direction of traditional Chinese culture to enhance the significance and national value of traditional Chinese sports culture and proposes scientifically constructing the goals of the development of traditional sports culture with respect to the general characteristics of regional humanity and cultural development, thus building up an innovative development path for the construction of traditional sports culture, satisfying the new requirements for traditional sports culture to develop with the times, and fueling the construction and formation of the new normal of its development.
