The New School Term

I’m Li Jiaying,I’m in Grade Three this year.My life has changed a lot in the past few years.I used to get up at 7:00 in the morning.But now I get up at 6:00 and read English for half an hour every morning.I used to watch TV and go to bed at 9:30 in the evening.But now I keep doing my homework until 11:00 and then go to bed.I used to play basketball or tennis in my free time.But now I spend all my free time studying all the subjects.I’m pretty tired every day.

I really miss the old days.

Should Teenagers Go Out with Friends on Weekends?

Recently I’ve had a discussion with my parents about whether teenagers should go out with friends on weekends.My parents think that teenagers should stay at home on weekends.They should review their lessons and finish their homework.And they should have enough time to have a good sheep.They also think teenagers should help parents do some housework on weekends.

In my opinion,we teenagers should be allowed to go out with friends for fun on weekends, so that we can relax ourselves more.And we can also share ideas with each other.What’s more, we can also take some exercise together to keep fit.Do you think so?

My Mother

My mother is an engineer.She is kind and easygoing.She often helps the poor people and the old people.She also teaches me to help others and wants me to be a helpful person.She is a hardworking woman,too.When I was ill,she always worried about me and tried her best to look after me well.She is also strict with me.She always tells me to study hard and to be careful.

On the other hand,she encourages me a lot.Once I failed in a test,she helped me to correct the wrong answers and find out the reasons,and then told me some good ways to improve my study.With her help,I made great progress in the final test.I am so thankful to my mother.I want to say,“Mom,I love you.In my heart,you are the greatest person.”

我的母親

我的母親是一名工程師。她善良而隨和。她經常幫助窮人和老人。她還教我去幫助別人，希望我成為一個有用的人。她很勤勞。當我生病時，她總是擔心我并盡最大努力照顧我。她同樣對我很嚴格。她總是告訴我要努力學習，要認真。

另一方面，她也經常鼓勵我。有一次，我考試不太理想，她幫我糾正錯誤，并找出錯誤的原因，然后告訴我一些好的方法來改進我的學習。在她的幫助下，我在期末考試中取得了很大的進步。我很感謝我的母親。我想說：“媽媽，我愛你。在我的心里，你是最偉大的人。
