Maternity Matron 月嫂
Meaning: Chinese women traditionally are confined indoors for a month after delivering a baby, on the grounds that they are particularly susceptible[易受感染的] to various gynecological[婦產科醫學的] diseases in this period. During the maternity month, maids, usually married women who have already had their own kids, are hired to take care of the newborn and the mother.
在中國,產婦誕下新生兒后有“坐月子”的傳統。在產后一個月里,如果沒有好好護理身體,就有可能落下一些婦科疾病。“月嫂”這一職業應運而生,指的是專業護理產婦和新生兒的家政人員,服務內容以月子護理為主。她們通常是已婚已育婦女,對“坐月子”有非常豐富的經驗,能協助新媽媽在這一特殊時期料理好身體,照顧好新生兒。由于這一行業要求月嫂具備專業的知識和豐富的經驗,好的月嫂在市場上往往供不應求,也就造成了月嫂的薪金水漲船高。
Reportedly, the average salary of a maternity matron is 9,405 yuan per month in Shanghai, much higher than that of a graduate from the class of 2014.

Mom Cave 媽咪洞穴
Meaning: An area of the house that a woman can decorate to her tastes and be alone to pursue her own projects and interests. Also called: woman cave.

Car schooling, she says in her book by the same name, is “an alternative approach to home schooling and after schooling, designed to improve everyone’s time on the road.”
