At present, scientists from the Hungary Academy of Science found that there was also language region in the dogs brain, and confirmed that dogs could understand the masters moods. This is the first time for people to do compare research on voice processing for the brain of non-human primates.

Scientists firstly trained 11 dogs, tried making them lie in the magnetic resonance imaging quietly, put earphones on their ears, played about 200 kinds of voices including whininess, crying, naughty barking and laughing, and then they seized the activity conditions of their brains. After analyzing the results, Andics found that as same as human, there was also language region disposing voice in the dogs brain, and the language regions location in the dogs brain is the same as humans brain.

Once hearing the happy voices, as the chuckles of baby, the primary auditory neurons of both species brain are more excited than hearing the painful cough. Andics also premised that:” Dogs dont respond to what we say, but respond to how we say.” He thought the similarity of auditory processing better explained why human and dogs are able to have excellent voice exchange. So the masters of dogs will know that dogs can understand their affection as people do.
