Fei Xiang， whose English name is Kris phillips， is a Chinese American. He is nearly two meters tall， with blue eyes， looking like an Asian. Though he was born in Taiwan， he grew up speaking Chinese to his mother and English to his father and students at Stanford University in California. A friend of mine was fond of drawing horse. He drew the horses very well， but he always began the tail. Now it is the Western rule to begin at the head of the horse， that is why I was surprised. It struck me that it could not really make any difference whether the artist begins at the head or the tail or the belly[肚子] or the foot of the horse， if he really knows his business. One day an ant was drinking at a small stream and fell in. She made desperate efforts to reach the side， but made no progress at all.
