生肖大拜年

生肖，莉和東亞地區的一些民族用來代表年份和人的出生年的十二種動物。每一年，小動物們都要輪番登場給大家拜年。這不，可愛的兔子來了——

十二生肖包括：鼠(Rat)，牛(Ox)，虎(Tiger)，兔(Hare)，龍(Dragon)，蛇(Snake)，馬(Horse)，羊(She印)，猴(Monkey)，雞(Cock)，狗(Dog)，豬(Boar)。英語中，詢問對方的屬相時要說：What animal sign were you born under?(你屬什么?)回答則是：I was born in the year of the Hare，或Mine is the Hare，(我屬兔。)

英語中有許多關于兔子(Hare或Rabbit)的諺語，不過多為貶義：First catch your hare，意指不要過于樂觀；You cannot run with the hare and hunt with hounds，不能兩面討好；If you run after two hares，you will catch neither，腳踏兩只船，必然落空。也有一些比較有趣的歇后語：A rabbit doesn't eat the grass near is own hole，兔子不吃窩邊草；The tail of a rabbit call't be long，兔子尾巴長不長。
