做細節題要細心

一、注意選項與原文表達的范圍差異

首先，請做做2010年佛山市教學質量檢測高一英語閱讀理解A篇的第31題:

Singapore Flyer was launched in 2008 and states to hold the current title for the world's biggest observation wheel， full 30 meters (90 feet) taller than the London Eye observation wheel in London! Soaring 165 meters， Singapore Flyer offers a whole view of Singapore’s important tourist attractions including the scenic Marina Bay.

第31小題為典型的細節理解題，但要求理解的細節在文中出現的跨度比較大，A選項在文章的第二段的第一句找細節，B、C選項的信息源在文章的第五段的最后一句，D選項出自于第一段的最后一句。

本題正確答案為A，但有44.87%的同學選了D，究其原因，主要是做題不夠細心，沒有注意選項將原文的范圍擴大了。請看原文:Singapore Flyer offers a whole view of Singapore’s important tourist attractions including the scenic Marina Bay，而D選項的表述為:get a whole view of all the Singapore’s tourist attractions。通過比對發現，命題人把important換成all，將范圍擴大了，差不多一半的考生中了圈套。

因此，做細節題要細心，也許一個單詞不同，范圍大小就有了差異，意思就不同了。

二、注意題干與原文中的條件不同

請再看2010年佛山市教學質量檢測高一英語閱讀理解C篇的第43小題:

According to this discovery， scientists say that people accept the colors they like， and refuse the colors they hate. So your body and mind will be healthy by using the colors you like. Or you’ll be nervous or even get ill. For example， if you stay in a room with red windows， wallpapers and furniture for two hours， you’ll feel you have been there for four hours. But if the room is blue， you’ll feel you have been there for only an hour. Another example， if a person walks out of a red room and into a blue room， his temperature will fall. That means our body temperature will change with different colors.

43. If a person walks out of a green room into a red room，____________.

A. his body temperature will rise

B. his temperature will fall

C. he will get comfortable

D. his body will be unhealthy soon

從答題的情況來看，選B的考生有23.74%，只有極少數考生選C和D，正確答案為A。

選B的考生認為選項B與原文倒數第二句后半部分表述(his temperature will fall)一模一樣，而沒有留意前面的條件不同，原文是“如果一個人從紅色房間走入藍色房間”而題干中的條件已改為“如是一個人由綠色房間走到紅色房間”，又是因為粗心而失分。

因此，表述跟原文完全相同的選項不一定是答案!
