你行，我也行

國際特殊奧林匹克委員會(huì)[Special Olympics International (SOI)，簡稱國際特奧會(huì)]是為全世界智力殘疾人開展體育訓(xùn)練和比賽的國際組織，多年來一直致力于在全世界范圍推動(dòng)特殊奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)的發(fā)展。國際特奧會(huì)以奧林匹克的內(nèi)涵和傳統(tǒng)為典范，每兩年舉辦一屆世界特奧運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)，夏季和冬季交替舉行。2007年在上海舉辦的第十二屆世界夏季特殊奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)，是世界夏季特奧運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)第一次在亞洲、在發(fā)展中國家舉辦。此次特奧運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)的口號是“你行，我也行”。2011夏季特奧運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)將在希臘雅典舉行。(本文為演講完整版)

Wow! What a show! President Hu Jintao. My mother， the great 1)Eunice Kennedy Shriver. Athletes! What a night!

2)Centuries ago the great Chinese philosopher， Lao Tze， wrote that the way of heaven is to benefit others. Surely he was thinking of all of you here in Shanghai tonight and of every citizen of China who has helped bring us this great moment of hope. On behalf of two hundred million people with intellectual disabilities， we thank this nation for this moment of hope.

As grateful as we are to the volunteers， and to all those who have worked so hard， it is really the athletes of Special Olympics who have given the world far more than the world has given to them.

Athletes， you know how to fight for a chance. You know how to train 3)against the odds. You know how to 4)persevere in the face of a challenge. You know how to do your best， with no fear at all. You know that true greatness comes when we know that our lives depend on “we” not on “me.” You know how to live with 5)exuberance， and openness， and trust. You are the ones who have done the work of heaven by reaching across the barriers of brokenness that separate us from one another and you say to all people you meet， “Come. Play with me. Break free. Live the we.” You are the ones to whom we want to send our admiration. And if that’s what it means to be a Special Olympics athlete， I want to live like a Special Olympics athlete.

So， let’s declare ourselves to be fans of the athletes of Special Olympics. Let’s promise to invite our friends and our neighbors around the world to join this great revolution. With the message， Special Olympics is for everyone， not for one group. Everyone who believes in perseverance， everyone who believes in triumph， everyone who believes in the human race. It is for all of us.

So go for it， athletes. Go for the gold. Do your best. Show off， out there on the playing fields. Leave it all in the game， in the greatest display of sports the world has ever seen.

You are the 21st century’s new celebrities. You have the secret the world is looking for. So go. Teach. Teach inclusion. Teach acceptance. And， most importantly， teach fun. And tell the world yes. Yes! Yes， I can!

數(shù)千年前，中國偉大的哲人老子寫道:天之道，利而不害。今夜在座的各位以及億萬中國人民帶給我們這一象征著希望的偉大時(shí)刻，這正是這句古訓(xùn)最好的詮釋。我們代表兩億智障人士感謝中國人民給我們帶來了這一象征著希望的時(shí)刻。

我們當(dāng)然要對眾多志愿者和那些辛勤工作的人們表示感謝，但是，更值得稱頌的是我們的特奧運(yùn)動(dòng)員，他們給予這個(gè)世界的遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)多于他們的所得。

運(yùn)動(dòng)員們，你們知道如何為爭取機(jī)會(huì)而奮斗;你們知道面對艱難險(xiǎn)阻該如何去訓(xùn)練;你們知道面對挑戰(zhàn)要如何堅(jiān)持;你們沒有絲毫畏懼，知道怎樣才能做到最好;你們深知只有當(dāng)我們明白我們的生活取決于我們大家，而不是孤立的個(gè)體的時(shí)候，才有可能達(dá)到真正的優(yōu)秀;你們知道如何以旺盛的精力，開放的態(tài)度和信任面對生活?！?br>
