曾出品《汽車總動員》和《料理鼠王》等著名動畫片的皮克斯公司今年又會給我們帶來什么呢？

公元2700年，地球堆滿垃圾，人類被迫移居太空，并派了一批機器人WALL·E（Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class的縮寫，即“地球廢品分裝員”）在地球清理垃圾，等待某天重返地球。然而這些機器人不適應地球的環(huán)境，陸續(xù)壞掉，最后只剩下一個還在日復一日地按照程序收拾廢品。對于他來說，撿垃圾就是他存在的意義。但很快他就會發(fā)現(xiàn)其存在的真正意義……

Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo) conceived[構思] WALL·E before Toy Story was made. The idea was， “What if mankind evacuated[撤出] Earth and forgot to turn off the last remaining

robot?” In his vision of the future， “WALL·E is the only one still truly living. And what is the ultimate[最終的] purpose of

living? To love. And WALL·E falls head over heels[完全地]

with a robot named EVE. Now， WALL·E’s feelings aren’t

reciprocated[報答] because， she has no feelings. She’s a robot， cold and clinical[冷靜的]. WALL·E is the one who has evolved over time and garnered[儲存] feelings. So in the end， it’s gonna be WALL·E’s pursuit to win EVE’s heart， and his unique appreciation of life to become mankind’s last hope to rediscover its roots. In short， it’s going to take a robot’s love to help make the world go round.”

幾百年來，WALL·E日復一日孤獨地執(zhí)行任務。在遇見另一個機器人伊夫（夏娃）之后，他發(fā)現(xiàn)了生命的全新意義。伊夫發(fā)現(xiàn)WALL·E無意間觸及關乎這顆星球未來的關鍵，于是急忙趕回太空向人類報告（人類對可以安全回家的消息盼望已久）。同時，WALL·E不辭勞苦地跨越星系，緊追伊夫……

導演安德魯·斯坦頓談論《星際總動員》

安德魯·斯坦頓（曾執(zhí)導《海底總動員》）早在《玩具總動員》之前就已經(jīng)開始醞釀《星際總動員》的故事。其構思是：“假如人類撤離地球，卻忘記關閉最后一個僅存的機器人，事情會怎么樣呢？”在斯坦頓對未來的構想中，“WALL·E是唯一僅存的、還真正活著的生命。而活著的最終目的是什么呢？活著是為了去愛。WALL·E瘋狂地愛上了一個叫伊夫的機器人。然而WALL·E的愛得不到回報，因為 ‘她’沒有感覺。她只是一個機器人，冰冷又無動于衷。而WALL·E經(jīng)過長久進化，成了能夠產(chǎn)生感覺的機器人。因此最后結局是WALL·E的追求贏得了伊夫的心，而他對于生命的獨特理解也成為了人類尋根的最后一絲希望。
