備受高考英語青睞的“ｏｕｔ”短語

在高考英語中，動詞歷來是考查的重點，其中對動詞短語的考查占有很大的比重，這類題目主要考查動詞短語（詞組）的含義辨析以及在特定語境中的靈活運用。通過深入研究歷年來的高考試題，筆者發(fā)現(xiàn)以副詞“out”構(gòu)成的動詞短語非常受到“青睞”，本文通過列舉歷屆高考題中對“out”短語的考查，透析“out”短語的用法，以期對廣大考生和英語教師有所幫助和啟發(fā)。

一、單項選擇題中對“out”短語的考查

1. ——Its a good idea. But whos going to ____ the plan?

——I think Tom and Greg will.（2000北京春招）

A. set aside B. carry out C. take in D. get through

解析：B。carry out 執(zhí)行，開展，實施；set aside把……置于一旁；take in接受，吸收；get through通過。

2. We didnt plan our art exhibition like that but it ____ very well.

(2001NMET)

A. worked out B. tried out C. went on D. carried on

解析：A。work out 此處為“成功，產(chǎn)生結(jié)果”，此外還有“算出，制定，鍛煉”的意思；try out試驗。

3. Can you make a sentence to ____ the meaning of the phrase?

(2002上海)

A. show off B. turn off C. bring out D. take in

解析：C。bring out 使顯出（特性），推出（新產(chǎn)品）；show off炫耀；turn off關(guān)掉（水、電，氣等）；take in吸收，欺騙。
