通過與商業的整合取得三重底線的成功
由國際生產力與質量中心(IQPC)舉辦的第四屆企業社會責任年會將于2007年5月1日至3日在澳大利亞的悉尼舉行。本次會議的主題是“通過與商業的整合取得三重底線的成功”。
歐洲企業社會責任協會的成員微軟、任仕達、思科、道富銀行和其它成員啟動了受雇就業能力技能試驗項目,作為歐洲企業社會責任聯盟發展的一個里程碑
3月27日由德國多個利益相關者群體發起的推進公民和工人受雇就業技能的活動正式啟動,這個活動被稱為“信息健康”。微軟、任仕達、思科、道富銀行、德國信息技術和通信協會、新媒體公司(BITKOM)、德國熟練工藝聯合會、德國鐵路股份公司和德國聯邦雇傭機構已經把推行獲取雇傭和增長技能的議題推到了歐盟雇傭和社會事務委員Vladimir Spidla面前。
第三屆歐洲企業社會責任展2007年12月29日
歐洲企業社會責任協會非常榮幸地宣布第三屆歐洲企業社會責任展的時間。今年這個活動將于12月29日在比利時的布魯塞爾舉行。(請聯系Ben Davies, bd@csreurope.org)

支持StEP項目(聯合國大學UNU一項新的關于電子廢棄物的動議)——惠普來自私營部門的主要支持者之一:
這個公私部門聯合發起的“解決電子廢棄物問題”(StEP)的動議于3月6日正式公布,目的是增加再循環,促進和協調再循環的標準和立法,以及減少沒有被安全處置的電子電器廢棄物的產生量。
大眾公司啟動在中國減少燃油消耗和排放的動議
大眾公司日前在中國大連發動機廠的開業典禮上宣布了在中國的新的環境目標。這個發動機廠是一汽大眾和上海大眾合資建立的。這些環境目標設定了在2010年前由這個發動機廠制造出的發動機模型的燃油量和排放量減少20%。
英特爾加入綠網
作為英特爾對于生產和產品能效的全面承諾,英特爾最近加入了綠網的董事會。綠網是新近成立的非盈利社團,專注于推進資料中心和商業計算機生態系統的能效。綠網是第一個得到了特許的商業議案,它對計算機生態系進行了一個全面的觀察,特別是那些資料中心的用戶面對的緊迫問題。綠網的成員相信資料中心的能效問題是技術提供商和他們的客戶現今所面臨的最重大的問題之一。

零售商說更少的廢棄物意味著更多的消費者

March 27th saw the official launch of a German wide multi-stakeholder initiative to boost the skills and employability of citizens and workers, called ‘IT Fitness? Microsoft, Randstad, Cisco, State Street as well as the German Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media e.V (BITKOM), the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH), Deutsche Bahn AG and the German Federal Employment Agency have taken the driving seat.

Volkswagen Launches New Initiative to Reduce Fuel Consumption and Emissions in China
Volkswagen announced new environmental goals for China at the inauguration of the engine plant in Dalian.
