一張難以琢磨的臉

The Elusive Face

“Lift the cup and invite the bright moon， and there are three persons including you and my shadow……”When I was enjoying the graceful poem， I heard sound of footsteps which was heavy but familiar. A whiff of strong smell with halitosis had been spreading over from another room， irritating my nose. I thought: what a pity that this beautiful poem was covered by the unpleasant smell.

“What are you doing?” Well， a war broke out again in the next room.. I heard mother’s furious roars and father’s helpless sighs. I knew the war was started’s helpless sighs. I knew the war was started because of my study. I was a little ashamed at that moment， so I rushed into their room in order to stop this boring and ridiculous quarrel.

But when I faced it ， I became speechless because of astonishment. My father’s face was so elusive that I could hardly tell exactly what it meant. I thought the war would be stopped with my efforts， but it became much more intense. My father’s face was more elusive and it made me quite puzzled. Seeing my mother’s face covered with tears. I was really sad and my tears couldn’t help gushing out too. I was staring at my father helplessly. His eyes were very small， like two lines， and his cheeks were covered with deep wrinkles.

The war seemed to have no end. The thunder-like scolding and cursing reverberated in my ears， making me quite distracted. My father’s face kept changing all the time. It was like the trick of face-changing of Sichuan traditional opera， which was so mysterious that nobody could understand.

Suddenly， my father became very serious， and turned his rival to me .At that moment， his small eyes became much smaller， the muscle on his face began to twitch， and his lips were shaking ，too. He then totally ignored my mother’s existence and started an unprecedented war against me. But， he lowered his head suddenly， showing a mysterious expression. At that time， I watched his face， puzzled. Surprisingly， he raised his head again ，with no expression on his face. Only the corners of his mouth were pointing upwards slightly. There was a smile， or maybe it was not a real smile but a kind of anger. My father stood up ， starting another fierce attack. His face became more complicated and changeable at that moment. His eyebrows frowned， his eyes blinked quickly， and the muscle on his face became more active. The exposure of his blue veins showed that he realized that his own self-respect had been damaged. In order to defend his own dignity， he finally had his anger erupt out on his face. At that moment， my mother dragged him into another room with great difficulty.

The war went to an end quietly， and the world was quiet finally. I shook my head heavily， trying to get rid of the air that made me suffocated. I rushed in my own room， with a textbook in my hand. I read aloud， in order to forget all the vexations completely.

Father said nothing to me afterwards， but he was still serious all day long. Perhaps he was drunk that day， perhaps he got angry， perhaps……perhaps the face really made it difficult for me to understand.

一張難以琢磨的臉

“舉杯邀明月，對影成三人……”正當我神游在古詩的優雅意韻中時，突然耳邊又響起了那熟悉而又沉甸甸的腳步聲，“嘩！”一股濃郁而又帶有口臭的味道極刺鼻地從另一間屋子偉了過來。我心中不免想到：難道李白這首優美的《月下獨酌》就被這難以琢磨的味道給掩蓋了嗎？

“你是怎么搞的……！”唉，狼煙又起，與我只有一墻之隔的地方，戰爭已經達到了白熱化程度，只聽見母親在狂叫著，父親也不時發出無奈的應和聲，我知道這一場戰爭又是因我的學習成績而起，此時我有點羞愧，便為了終止這場無聊的決斗而沖了過去。

但當我面對這一切時，我愣住了，眼前父親的面孔已是讓人難以琢磨，而我也沒想到這場情感上的決斗由于我的出現反而愈演愈烈。這張難以琢磨的臉此時更加讓人疑惑不解。母親那令人心酸的淚珠使我再也忍受不了眼前的朦朧，使我的眼淚也禁不住奪眶而出。我無可奈何地盯著父親，盯著他那只有一線縫隙的雙眼，盯著他那墮落的面頰。

一切的一切猶如狂風暴雨一發不可收拾，驚雷般的對罵聲回蕩在我的耳際，攪得我心煩意亂。而父親那張難以琢磨的臉龐也不停地在我面前變化著，剎那間，這張臉上開始了新一輪的變遷。猶如川戲變臉中那不知的奧秘，讓人感覺變幻莫測。

父親一下一本正經起來，開始將對手轉向了我，這時，他那只有一線縫隙的雙眼顯得更加細小，而臉上的肌肉也開始抽搐著，嘴唇也似乎不耐煩地亂動著，此時的他完全忽視了母親的存在，開始了史無前例的針對我的挑戰?？墒?，不知為什么他突然像丟了魂似垂下的頭，擺出了一副神秘的態勢。這時的我看著他的臉，心里感到納悶。然而又讓我一驚的是他的頭卻又沉沉地抬了起來，臉上毫無表情，只有嘴角略微向上翹了翹，有點笑意，但這決不是笑，而是一種病態的笑。父親猛地站了起來，又開始猛烈的進攻。這時父親的臉更加復雜多變，他雙眉一繃一皺，雙眼一開一瞪，嘴唇一張一合，臉上的肌肉更加活躍進來，那青盤暴露的表情表現出他意識到了自己的自尊受到了損害，為了捍衛自己的尊嚴，父親終于將怕有的憤怒從臉上爆發出來。就在這然難關頭，母親連拉帶扯艱難地把父親挪到了另一個屋子。

這場無奈的戰斗就這樣悄無聲息地結束了，這個世界終于清靜了，我甩了甩頭想甩掉這僅人壓抑的空氣，我箭步沖進我的房間，端起書本大聲朗讀著，為的是把一切煩惱丟在腦后……事后父親并沒和我說什么，他依然整天是滿臉包公像，而那天他也許是醉了，也許是發怒了，也許……也許這張臉的確讓人難以琢磨。
