ＣＰＡＦＦＣ Ｐｒｅｓｉｄｅｎｔ Ｃｈｅｎ Ｈａｏｓｕ Ｌｅａｄｓ Ｄｅｌｅｇａｔｉｏｎ ｔｏ Ａｕｓｔｒａｌｉａ ｔｏ Ａｔｔｅｎｄ ＵＣＬＧ ＡＳＰＡＣ Ｍｅｅｔｉｎｇ

A CPAFFC delegation headed by its president Chen Haosu attended the World Organization of United Cities and Local Governments Asia Pacific Regional Section (UCLG ASPAC) Meeting and UCLG-ASPAC Liveable Cities Forum held in Brisbane， Australia from May 8 to 11. Present at the meeting， besides the CPAFFC delegation， were more than 60 representatives from UCLG ASPAC members including Australia， India， Indonesia， Japan， the Republic of Korea， Malaysia as well as Taiwan Province of China. Elections of president and vice presidents of the UCLG ASPAC and members of its Executive Bureau and Regional Council were held. Chen Haosu was reelected president for a term of 2 years. The UCLG ASPAC Regional Council formally accepted Beijing as its member. Matters concerning the holding of the Second UCLG World Congress in Cheju of the Republic of Korea in October 2007 were discussed at the meeting.
