戴云輝,1935年出生于浙江溫州市,中國美術學院旅法藝術家。早年入中央美術學院華東分院(現中國美術學院)和上海戲劇學院深造,畢業后任報社美術編輯40年。擅長人物畫,以速寫見長,所作筆墨酣暢,格調清新,富有濃郁的生活氣息。美國海馬圖書出版公司為其出版《戴云輝速寫集》,浙江人民美術出版社出版其多幅戲劇年畫,其中《打金枝》《追魚》兩幅印數達150萬張。藝術事跡被輯入《世界名人錄》《世界名人辭典》《中國當代美術家名錄》等多部辭書。
戴云輝還特別喜作濟公畫像。為了畫出濟公的幽默風趣、豁達樂觀和為民解憂的藝術形象,曾多次走訪新加坡、緬甸、泰國等東南亞濟公文化場所考察寫生,積累素材,所作濟公畫千姿百態,深得國人喜愛,濟公表演者、藝術家游本昌盛贊其“把濟公畫活了!”

Born in 1935 in Wenzhou, Dai Yunhui studied fine arts at East China College of China Fine Arts Academy (today's China Academy of Arts) and Shanghai Theatrical Academy in early years. Then he worked as an art editor for a media for over 40 years. Dai is good at portraying human figures and his sketches are extraordinary.
A collection of sketches by Dai Yunhui was published in America. A one and a half million copies of the two of his New Year pictures were printed by Zhejiang People's Fine Arts Press. His name is in many of world's most prominent who's who books. Dai is also known for his accomplishment in creating images of Ji Gong the Crazy Monk, a popular figure in Chinese folk legends for hundreds of years.
