本刊現(xiàn)為國家自然科學基金委員會重點資助期刊，是大氣科學領域的學術性刊物，堅持“百花齊放，百家爭鳴”的方針，努力反映大氣科學領域的最新研究成果，及時刊登有創(chuàng)造性的學術論文及評述性文章，報道大氣科學領域內(nèi)的新動向、新問題。國內(nèi)外大氣科學領域著名科學家均向我刊投稿，編委由國內(nèi)外大氣科學領域知名科學家共40多人組成。
