The Current State and Strategic Responses for the Preservation and Development of Tujia Culture in the Era of Digital Intelligence

Abstract：

In the era of digital intelligence， Tujia culture is" an important component of traditional Chinese fine culture，" embodying the knowledge， judgments， and values pursued by the Tujia people" throughout their enduring existence in the Wuling Mountain region. "The preservation and further" development of Tujia culture are deemed critical not only" for the socio-economic dynamics and value orientation of" the" 8 million Tujia" individuals" but also for the" overall" stability and prosperity of the Wuling Mountain area. More importantly，" studies suggest" the" continuity and development of Tujia culture arguably" have had a profound impact on the construction of the diversity，" national identity， self-confidence， and" progress" of the entire Chinese culture：" It is not only related to the construction of socialist culture with Chinese" characteristics， but also" linked" to the scientific， comprehensive， people-oriented， and unique nature of the" cultural heritage that shapes a shared future for humanity.

In the country’s new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics， this study considers it imperative" to carry out research on" the excavation， development， protection， utilization，" preservation， and innovative development of Tujia culture." Such initiatives not only respond to material and cultural aspirations of Tujia people but also serve as integral components in enriching and evolving" traditional Tujia culture. This can be conceivably pursued by leveraging opportunities of the new era such as rural revitalization" and" a Chinese path of modernization， all in line with the principles and development of the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.

To ensure the inheritance and innovative development of Tujia culture in the new era，" this paper posits the need to first purify" the dross and essence of the culture，" address challenges posed by digital intelligence，" and overcome" the Tujia culture’s “going out” and “bringing in” （i.e. Tujia culture should inject new elements of new era and new society in the process of inheritance and development ）. At the same time，" opportunities afforded" by data and intelligence should be grasped to" pursue a unique development model" through" a" deep integration with advanced science and technology such as artificial intelligence and big data." To put it another way， this advocates for a balanced focus on both “bringing in and going out”， aiming to scientifically refine and expand Tujia culture，" integrating it with Chinese culture， socialist culture with Chinese characteristics，" and the culture of" a global" community with a shared future for humankind. The goal of which is a" comprehensive development" that highlights distinctive， rooted， and engaging cultural attributes.

Consequently， this article" asserts the necessity of adhering to the Marxist theory of ethnology，" while promoting" the Tujia regional culture to constantly adapt to the development requirements of the new era. By facilitating this reconstruction" of Tujia culture" and its value guidance， this" study firmly believes that such efforts will provide a certain cultural impetus for the rural revitalization and Chinese-style" modernization of the Tujia region，" simultaneously highlighting the cultural appeal and value-driven influence of" self-improvement and moral commitment" arguably inherent in Chinese culture， particularly in the context of building a community with a shared future for" humanity.
