舞在中國(guó)

看到照片中的女生，你肯定很難把“美”和她聯(lián)系起來。這就是剛來中國(guó)的我，一個(gè)膽小害羞、不善表達(dá)、不太自信的人，但在中國(guó)的一堂課徹底改變了我。

記得那是2020年的冬天，老師專門給我們安排了一堂中國(guó)舞蹈文化的實(shí)踐課。課堂上，老師向我們展示中國(guó)古代舞蹈，只見她舞姿飄逸、動(dòng)作柔美，“美人舞如蓮花旋，世人有眼應(yīng)未見”，她曼妙的身姿令我驚嘆又陶醉，至今仍印象深刻。

在老師的講解和示范下，我對(duì)唐代的舞蹈有了進(jìn)一步了解，“女為胡婦學(xué)胡妝，伎進(jìn)胡音務(wù)胡樂”，開放包容的唐代對(duì)異域文化的吸收與發(fā)揚(yáng)，使西域而來的“胡旋舞”得以廣泛傳播。而唐代舞蹈的兼收并蓄，也讓唐代女性展現(xiàn)出自信開放的精神風(fēng)貌。我被老師所展示的千年畫卷中那些翩翩起舞的女性形象所震撼，真不敢相信一千多年前的中國(guó)女性竟是如此的時(shí)尚自信！她們含蓄而不鋒芒畢露，溫和且堅(jiān)韌不拔，這激起同為女性的我對(duì)唐代文化的興趣與向往，我萌生了學(xué)習(xí)中國(guó)舞蹈的想法。

老師似乎發(fā)現(xiàn)了我的“小秘密”，精心為我們編排舞蹈，鼓勵(lì)我們學(xué)習(xí)唐代樂舞《宴清都》。聽到這個(gè)消息后，我做出了人生中最大膽的決定：報(bào)名學(xué)舞！我每天都第一個(gè)到舞蹈教室練習(xí)動(dòng)作，雖然我的身體僵硬，協(xié)調(diào)性也不好，但老師仍不厭其煩地幫我調(diào)整動(dòng)作。在她的悉心指導(dǎo)下，我刻苦練習(xí)，努力模仿每個(gè)動(dòng)作。為了讓我們跳出神韻，老師們還帶我們?nèi)リ兾鳉v史博物館參觀，幫助我們了解舞蹈背后的文化和歷史。我還被選為隊(duì)長(zhǎng)，幫助每個(gè)隊(duì)員學(xué)會(huì)舞蹈，統(tǒng)一動(dòng)作。

2021年6月的一個(gè)晚上，是我們正式在大唐不夜城表演的日子，也是我最難忘的一天。在成百上千中國(guó)觀眾的注視下，我鼓起勇氣，帶領(lǐng)所有留學(xué)生隊(duì)員順利地完成了舞蹈表演。當(dāng)場(chǎng)下觀眾報(bào)以熱烈的掌聲和歡呼聲時(shí)，我們激動(dòng)地流下眼淚，內(nèi)心的驕傲與成就感油然而生。沒想到身為外國(guó)人的我也能成為中華傳統(tǒng)文化的傳播者，在如此大的舞臺(tái)上展現(xiàn)自己的美，展示外國(guó)人對(duì)中國(guó)文化的理解。這次的堅(jiān)持也更加堅(jiān)定了我學(xué)好漢語(yǔ)的決心，加深了我對(duì)中國(guó)文化的熱愛。

漢語(yǔ)老師曾經(jīng)在課堂上講過“各美其美，美美與共”，最初我還不太明白老師說的“美”是什么。我如何能感受到“美”？我的“美”又是什么樣的？通過對(duì)中國(guó)舞蹈文化的了解與親身體驗(yàn)，我才意識(shí)到：中國(guó)文化，向美而生！

舞蹈是文化的一部分，一直都傳遞著對(duì)美的向往，更是中國(guó)文化的傳承與延伸。我看過無數(shù)美麗的中國(guó)舞蹈：在《只此青綠》中，我看到中國(guó)人對(duì)自然之美的向往；在《唐宮夜宴》中，我感受到對(duì)盛世大唐的人和之美的向往；在《滿庭芳國(guó)色》中，我領(lǐng)悟到中國(guó)色彩美學(xué)的背后，是對(duì)“天地與我并生，而萬物與我為一”的和諧共生的向往。中國(guó)舞蹈，其服裝、動(dòng)作、神態(tài)、音樂，無一不展現(xiàn)著“翩若驚鴻，婉若游龍”的獨(dú)特魅力，也讓我深刻地感受到承載在文化背后悠久深厚的中國(guó)美學(xué)傳統(tǒng)和文化內(nèi)涵。“舞以盡意”，即使是中國(guó)舞蹈中最常見、最簡(jiǎn)單的畫圓動(dòng)作，也體現(xiàn)出中國(guó)人對(duì)和諧圓滿的向往。

2023年5月，我在西安經(jīng)歷了中亞五國(guó)峰會(huì)的召開，在機(jī)場(chǎng)歡迎我國(guó)總統(tǒng)的儀式上，在大唐芙蓉園舉行的歡迎宴會(huì)上，我又一次感受到中國(guó)舞蹈的無限魅力。這些按照中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)禮儀設(shè)計(jì)的最高迎賓儀式，既彰顯了中國(guó)文化包容四海、兼納百川的精神風(fēng)貌，也讓我們看到中國(guó)與中亞五國(guó)文明互鑒、民心相通、共同構(gòu)建命運(yùn)共同體的美好愿景。

當(dāng)然，這次峰會(huì)也讓我的故事幸運(yùn)地登上了報(bào)紙。作為中亞留學(xué)生代言人，我為合作共生的美好未來而發(fā)聲。學(xué)舞的經(jīng)歷，讓我從默默無聞的B角走向人生的主角，逐漸發(fā)現(xiàn)并找到自己的“美”。我變得開朗自信，積極參與到學(xué)校各項(xiàng)活動(dòng)和漢語(yǔ)比賽中。我還堅(jiān)持學(xué)習(xí)各種中國(guó)舞蹈。2023年，我?guī)ьI(lǐng)我們留學(xué)生舞蹈隊(duì)，代表學(xué)校表演了唐代的宮廷樂舞——《霓裳羽衣舞》。通過努力，我還成為陜西歷史博物館的一名文物講解員，為留學(xué)生講解中國(guó)的文物和歷史故事，傳播中國(guó)文化。我的改變，讓老師和同學(xué)們刮目相看。現(xiàn)在，我已經(jīng)成為系里的留學(xué)生輔導(dǎo)員，成為老師們的得力助手，也是同學(xué)們的熱心學(xué)姐。我希望能幫助我身邊的每一位留學(xué)生在求學(xué)之路上發(fā)現(xiàn)他們的“美”，實(shí)現(xiàn)自我價(jià)值，與大家“各美其美，美人之美”。

美在舞里誕生，在堅(jiān)持里開花！世間所有的美好，都需要踮起腳尖，努力去爭(zhēng)取，超越自己，在曲折中發(fā)現(xiàn)更多的驚喜，如同跳舞一樣，用自己的節(jié)奏和汗水，展現(xiàn)最自信的“美”。同時(shí)，我也希望能通過自己的行動(dòng)，和全世界的青年人攜起手來，做文化交流與傳播的使者，助推民心相通，實(shí)現(xiàn)“美美與共，天下大同”。

When you see the girl in the photo， it will be hard for you to associate “beauty” with her. This is me when I first came to China， a timid and shy girl who is not confident and good at expressing herself， But a class in China completely changed me.

In the winter of 2020， the teacher arranged a practical class on Chinese dance culture for us. In class， the teacher showed us ancient Chinese dance. She danced gracefully and gently. “The beauty dances like a lotus flower， which the world has never seen.” I was amazed and intoxicated by her graceful figure， which still deeply impresses me today.

Under the teacher’s explanation and demonstration， I have a better understanding of the dances of the Tang Dynasty. “Women learn Hu makeup to mimic Hu women， and they learn Hu songs to perform Hu music.” The open and inclusive Tang Dynasty that absorbed and promoted foreign cultures made the “Hu Spinning Dance” from the Western Regions widely spread. The inclusive and eclectic nature of dance in the Tang Dynasty also allowed women in the Tang Dynasty to show a confident and open spirit. I was shocked by the dancing female figures in the millennium scrolls shown by the teacher. I couldn’t believe that Chinese women more than 1，000 years ago were so fashionable and confident！ They were subtle but not overt， gentle and persevering. This aroused my interest and yearning for Tang culture as a woman， and I came up with the idea of learning Chinese dance.

The teacher seemed to have discovered my “l(fā)ittle secret” and carefully choreographed the dance for us， encouraging us to learn the Tang Dynasty dance “A Banquet at the Qing Capital”. After hearing the news， I made the boldest decision in my life： Sign up to learn dance！ I was the first to go to the dance class every day to practice my movements. Although my body was stiff and my coordination was not good， the teacher still took the trouble to help me adjust my movements. Under her careful guidance， I practiced hard and tried to imitate every movement. In order to let us dance with the elegant charm， the teachers also took us to visit the Shaanxi History Museum to help us understand the culture and history behind the dance. I was also selected as the captain to help each team member learn to dance and unify their movements.

One night in June 2021， it was the day when we officially performed at Datang Never-night City， and it was the most unforgettable day for me. Under the gaze of hundreds of Chinese audiences， I mustered up the courage to lead all the international team members to successfully complete the dance performance. When the audience responded with warm applause and cheers， we shed tears with excitement， feeling proud and accomplished. I didn’t expect that as a foreigner， I could also become a disseminator of Chinese traditional culture， show my beauty on such a big stage， and demonstrate foreigners’understanding of Chinese culture. This persistence has also strengthened my determination to learn Chinese well and deepened my love for Chinese culture.

A Chinese teacher once said in class that “each has its own beauty， and beauty is shared by all”. At first， I didn’t quite understand what the teacher meant by “beauty”. How can I feel “beauty”？ What does my “beauty” look like？ Only after understanding of Chinese dance culture through my personal experience， did I realize： Chinese culture is born for beauty！

Dance is a part of culture and has always conveyed the yearning for beauty. It is also the inheritance and extension of Chinese culture. I have seen countless beautiful Chinese dances： in “Only Green”， I saw the Chinese people’s yearning for the beauty of nature; in “Night Banquet at the Tang Palace”， I felt the yearning for the beauty of the people of the prosperous Tang Dynasty; in “Fragrant and Colorful Courtyard”， I realized that behind the Chinese color aesthetics is the yearning for the harmonious coexistence of “the heaven and the earth coexist with me， and all things and me are one”. Chinese dance， with its costumes， movements， expressions， and music， all show the unique charm of “grace as a startled phoenix， elegant like a swimming dragon”. It also made me deeply feel the long and profound Chinese aesthetic tradition behind the culture. “Dancing to express one’s heart”， even the most common and the simplest circular motion of Chinese dance also reflects the Chinese people’s yearning for harmony and perfection.

In May 2023， I experienced the convening of the China-Central Asian Summit in Xi’an. At the ceremony to welcome the president of our country at the airport， and the welcome banquet held at the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden， I once again felt the infinite charm of Chinese dance. These top welcoming ceremonies designed in accordance with traditional Chinese etiquette not only demonstrate the spirit of Chinese culture that embraces all corners of the world， but also allow us to see that China and the five Central Asian countries learn from each other’s civilizations， connect their peoples and jointly build a beautiful vision of a community with a shared future.

Of course， this summit also allowed my story to be published in newspapers. As a spokesperson for international students in Central Asia， I spoke out for a better future of cooperation and symbiosis. The experience of learning dance allowed me to move from an unknown B role to the protagonist in life， and gradually discovered and found my own “beauty”. I became cheerful and confident， and actively participated in various school activities and Chinese language competitions. I also insist on learning various Chinese dances. This year， I led our international student dance team to represent the school in a performance of the Tang Dynasty’s court music and dance - “The Dance of Colorful Feather Clothes”. Through hard work， I also became a cultural relic commentator at the Shaanxi History Museum， explaining Chinese cultural relics and historical stories to international students and spreading Chinese culture. My changes impressed my teachers and classmates. Now， I have become not only the international student counselor in the department， but also the teachers’ right-hand assistant， and the enthusiastic senior sister of the students. I hope to help every international student around me discover their “beauty” in their studies， realize their self-worth， and “shine with their beauty and appreciates the beauty of each other”.

Beauty is born in dance and blooms in persistence. All the beauty in the world requires standing on tiptoes， working hard to strive for it， surpassing yourself and discovering more surprises in the twists and turns. Just like dancing， use your own rhythm and sweat to show the most confident “beauty”. At the same time， I also hope that through my actions， I can hand in hand with young people around the world to serve as a messenger for cultural exchanges and dissemination， promote people-to-people connections， and realize the goal of “sharing beauty and sharing the united world”.
