What is the traditional non-material cultural heritage in Jinzhou?It’s the art of stilt(高蹺) walking, This unique cultural practice has been passed down from generation to generation in Jinzhou City.

Strong long bamboo poles( 長竹竿) to the feet creates a high platform for performers.With the help of these stilts, they show their agility(敏捷)and balance while walking, dancing, jumping, and even performing impressive acrobatic( 雜 技 的) tricks.The performers must display exact coordination and control, as they control the high stilts with grace and skill.

Stilt walking holds important cultural value in Jinzhou.It not only serves as a form of entertainment but also carries historical and social significance.This traditional art form shows the skills and bravery of the local people, as well as their strong sense of community and unity.Stilt walking performances are commonly seen during festivals, celebrations, and other important cultural events.It not only adds energy and joy to the local traditions but also creates a sense of pride and identity among the Jinzhou community.
