My Summer Holiday

During the summer holiday,I had the amazing opportunity to visit Guilin,Guangxi.This picturesque destination has earned a well-deserved reputation for its breathtaking beauty.They say,“Guilin’s scenery is peerless in the world,” and I wholeheartedly agree.It wasn’t until I set foot in this enchanting place that I realized how truly remarkable it is.

I embarked on this journey to Guilin with my family,and we made the trip by car.The weather was scorching,and the sun hung high in the sky.The heavens above were a brilliant blue,adorned with fluffy white clouds.

Guilin’s landscapes are renowned far and wide,and it’s no surprise that everyone yearns to witness its beauty.One of our first stops was Ruyi Peak,a majestic and lofty mountain.To reach its summit,we hopped on a cable car,which added an element of excitement to the experience.At the peak,we were treated to a panorama of awe-inspiring views.Later,we embarked on a serene journey down the Lijiang River aboard a spacious boat.The water of the Lijiang River was extraordinarily clear,reflecting the lush greenery on its banks.The serenity of the surroundings made me feel utterly relaxed and content.

During our stay,we indulged in the delightful local cuisine,savoring the flavors of Guilin noodles and beer-braised duck.These dishes were known for their spiciness,but to my delight,they proved to be absolutely delicious.Every member of my family developed a fondness for these dishes.

As our trip neared its end,we had the unique experience of drifting along the river on a bamboo raft.It was an opportunity to capture the stunning landscapes through our camera lenses,preserving beautiful memories.Sitting on the bamboo raft,I gazed in wonder at the striking mountain formations,adding to the list of natural wonders I had explored in Guilin.I fell in love with the rivers and mountains of Guilin,making it an unforgettable destination.

Guilin is,without doubt,a place of wonder and beauty.My experience there was simply incredible,and I’m already looking forward to returning in the future.I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Guilin,as I believe you’ll find it to be an enjoyable and memorable destination.Welcome to Guilin,and prepare to be captivated by its charm!
