It’s undeniable thatthe opening ceremony ofthe FISU World UniversityGames in Chengdu wasa total success. I believethe most surprising scenewas the appearance ofall the fantastic Chineseelements. Have you foundthem all？ Let’s review some of them.

With the bloom of twelve golden fireworks， the opening ceremonykicked off. Actually， the fireworks were inspired by the Sun God Bird.This is one of the hallmarks of Chinese cultural heritage， representing therising sun and the promising future of all the young athletes. By the way，the relic unearthed in Sichuan also relates to the host city. What a genius?design， I must say.

When it was time for the entrance of the athletes， the color of the floorbecame colorful， representing the Shu embroidery. All the athletes had setfoot on the beautiful silk road around the gym， accepting the blessing of“having a bright future like the continuous brocade” from the organizer.

At such a grand ceremony， how could we forget our national treasure？The mascot， Rongbao， was shuttling（ 穿梭）between the athletes all thetime during the entrance. With elements of fire， panda， and Sichuan operamixed together， this lovely creature attracts hundreds of foreigners’ attention.

In terms of hearing， music from our national instrument chime stonehas brought us a strong sense of satisfaction. The ethereal ancient musicperfectly brought the audience into the situation.
