1. Would you like / love to ... ？ 你愿意……嗎？

Would you like to go to the movie with me tonight？

今晚你愿意和我一起去看電影嗎？

2. Id like to ask you to do sth. 我想讓你……

Id like to ask you to play table tennis with me. 我想請你和我一起打乒乓球。

3. Id like to invite you to do sth. 我想邀請你……

Id like to invite you to visit my uncles farm this Saturday.

我想邀請你本周六去參觀我叔叔的農場。

4. It would be my pleasure if you would do sth. 如果你能夠……那將是我的榮幸。

It would be my pleasure if you would join us for dinner tonight.

如果今晚你能和我們一起用餐，我將不勝榮幸。

5. May I / we have the honor of doing sth.？ 我 / 我們可以榮幸地……嗎？

May we have the honor of treating you to dinner on Friday？

周五我能有幸邀請你吃個飯嗎？

6. May I invite you to do ... ？ 我可以邀請你……嗎？

May I invite you to dance with me？ 我可以邀請你和我跳舞嗎？

7. Why not do sth.？ 為什么不……？

【接受邀請】

1. Yes， Id love / like to ... 是的，我很樂意……

2. Sure， Id love / like to ... 當然，我很樂意……

3. All right. 好吧。

4. With pleasure. 非常樂意。

5. Thats be very nice. 那太好了。

6. Yes， its very kind / nice of you. 好的，你真是太好了。

7. Id like to. Thank you. 我很愿意，謝謝你。

8. Its so kind of you to invite me to do ... 你能邀請我……真是太好了。

【拒絕邀請】

1. No， thank you. 不，謝謝。

2. Im afraid I cant. 恐怕我不能來。

3. Im sorry， I cant. I have to ... 很抱歉，我不能，我必須……

4. Id love to， but ... 我很愿意，不過……

5. Thats kind of you， but Im afraid ... 你真太好了，但恐怕……

6. Thank you very much， but ... 非常感謝，但是……

7. I wish I could， but ... 我希望能來，但是……

8. Id love to， but Im afraid I have no time. 我想去，但是恐怕我沒時間。

【情景對話】

Mary： Jack and Ben， can you come to my birthday party on Saturday night？

Ben： Yes， Id love to. What time is it？

Mary： It starts at six oclock.

Ben： OK， I will come on time.

Mary： Thank you， Ben. What about you， Jack？

Jack： Im sorry. I really have to study for the mid?exam.

Mary： Well， you can study in the morning and the afternoon and come to my party for an hour， cant you？

Jack： Yes， but， well， I have to help my mother this weekend， too. I am really sorry.

Mary： Maybe Im asking you to come another time.

Jack： OK. Thanks a lot for asking.

Mary： Not at all.
