Beijing is the capital city of China. Ive always wanted to see the beauty of our capital city. So I went to Beijing to find out.

北京是中國的首都。我一直想親眼去看看首都的美麗風光，所以我來到北京，打算一探究竟。

Speaking of Beijing， we must mention Tiananmen Square. The national flag is raised on time in the square every morning. Its very majestic. We come to the Great Wall as well. It looks like a dragon on the mountain. What a miracle it is！

說起北京，那就肯定會提到天安門。每天早晨，五星紅旗都會在天安門廣場上升起，升旗儀式十分壯觀。我還登上了長城。它看起來像一條巨龍盤踞在山上，真是一個奇跡！

There are many interesting traditional activities in Beijing， such as blowing the Tang People， the crickets fighting and so on. These traditional activities are very popular.

北京有許多有趣的傳統活動，比如吹糖人、斗蛐蛐等。這些活動都深受人們喜愛。

The roast duck is a special dish in Beijing. As I know， there are? also Donkey-rolling， noodles with soy bean paste. I like eating Donkey-rolling best. Its so sweet. Its got all kinds of fillings in it. Mmm... Delicious！

烤鴨是北京的特色小吃。我知道的還有“驢打滾”、炸醬面……我非常喜歡吃“驢打滾”，它甜甜的，里面還包裹著各種餡料，太好吃了！

Miss Pan： Joy， I heard that you went to Beijing. Can you tell me something interesting there？

Joy： All right. I go to Tiananmen Square and I also went to see the flag-raising（升旗儀式）.

Miss Pan： If you want to go to see the flag-raising， it should be very early， right？

Joy： Yes， about 5：15.

Miss Pan： Is this the time every day？

Joy： No， it isnt. The time of raising the flag in Tiananmen Square changes every day.

Miss Pan： Can you say it in detail（細節）？

Joy： The raising and lowering time of the national flag in Tiananmen Square is determined（決定） according to the sunrise（日出） and sunset（日落） time in Beijing. In the morning， when the upper edge（上邊緣） of the sun is equal to（等于） the horizon（地平線） seen in Tiananmen Square， it is the raising time. So it rises at a different time every day.
