A New Era of Chinese-Inspired Prosperity

From the 16thto the 22ndof October, 2022, the world turned its attention to—Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, as he addressed the 20thCPC National Congress in Beijing. Undoubtedly the most important in the coming years,one of the most potent leaders globally, what Xi Jinping says carried weight across continents, impacting global trade, military, health, and political matters.

A New Chapter Unfolds in the People’s Republic of China

On the historic occasion when China witnessed the convening of the 20thCPC National Congress, it unfolded a new chapter in China’s modern history. It is a turning point in the history of China from where it can apply its locally proven theory of“Socialism with Chinese Characteristics” to achieve lasting peace and progress for humanity worldwide.

As President Xi Jinping presented his report card for the last ten years, we can see the expansion of BRICS, Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), RCEP, and SCO, the elimination of absolute poverty, modernization of the military, bridging of the technology gap with the West and leading the way in dealing with a global pandemic. This is because the Chinese nation emerged so powerful and with such rapidity—diplomatically,economically, and technologically.

China Offers a Fresh Vision to the World

China’s Marxist model of government, added to Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, forms the bedrock of China’s current progress and development. As such, this historic session of the National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) envisions openness, harmony, and a commitment to the common destiny of the world.

Today, when the world is witnessing numerous challenges,China’s voice for peace, global stability, progress, prosperity,win-win cooperation, a shared future for humankind, and connectivity offers a refreshing wave of optimism and hope for the world.

The new leadership in China will embark on the country’s unique journey toward modernization. While the previous era of modernization was led by economic and industrial liberalization, the new generation of modernization will witness China opening up culturally and becoming a more cross-cultural destination. The world is currently reeling under unprecedented challenges and needs to embrace the shared values of humanity and move towards a standard density through mutual development.

In the modern history of the People’s Republic of China, the developments, initiatives, and measures taken by the CPC since 1949 at the grassroots level have borne fruit within a few decades in every field. China’s historic absolute poverty eradication is a sign of human achievement not only for China and the developing world but for all of humanity.

Today, China proudly shows off its modern infrastructure,technology, and the dividends of its digital revolution. In addition, China is recognized for its rapid progress and prosperity,absolute poverty eradication, spearheading a digital process,immediate and sustained economic growth, and space exploration, leading the way toward building a shared future for humankind. In all this, the vision, discipline, and dynamism of the CPC have played a defining part.

The Chinese approach to win-win cooperation has won the hearts of billions of people around the world. Nations, especially those in the developing world, who are tired of so-called democracy, are looking towards the Chinese model of governance and the approach used by President Xi Jinping with the hope that their countries too can progress and modernize.

Decoding the Formula for China’s Success

China has become a moderately prosperous society in all respects, so much so that it is now taking confident strides toward turning China into a modern, socialist country. Chinese growth is set to create history within the next few decades. The next few decades, according to President Xi Jinping, will represent an era of rejuvenation for the Chinese nation as it moves closer to realizing its destiny of becoming a world power.

Developing and developed countries are mesmerized by the Chinese model as they can see how the government has delivered services to the masses. Moreover, the trickledown approach in China’s model of governance offers hope to depressed and vulnerable communities worldwide, eager for such a benevolent governance system that can end their miseries.

Validation of the Chinese Journey

The 20thCPC National Congress showcased China’s success story to the world. These achievements represent China’s journey, and the Congress’s purpose was to chart the course toward a new era of growth by building upon these achievements and being aware of the challenges.
