There are many benefits of keeping a journal when you're traveling.It helps you to re?member more of your visit and learn more culture,customs and people of your surroun?dings.Also,it helps you to look back and reflect on what you have learned.1 .Here are some writing tips for your travel journals.

Write about what you imagine it will be like

Sometimes when you travel,your destination is wildly different than what you ex?pected.Maybe you expected the local food to be bad but it turned out to be delicious.

2 .Maybe you thought you would be more comfortable with the language.Whatever it is,think about writing it down before you arrive.It will be interesting to compare these pre?dictions to what you actually experienced.

Write during your trip

3 .Therefore,try and write as much as you can while traveling.Your journal en?tries don't have to be long,but you should let them highlight what you feel.Before going to bed,try and recall what you did that day,what you thought and how you felt.This will serve as a great way to remember more of your trip,and will also help you reflect and grow from what you encountered.
