9月2日，市人大常委會副主任杜黎明分別會見了即將離任回國的日本駐重慶總領事渡邊信之和加拿大駐重慶總領事戴杰豪。

杜黎明代表重慶市對兩位總領事在任期內為促進重慶與本國的交流合作所作出的積極貢獻表示贊賞和感謝。杜黎明表示，渡邊信之總領事、戴杰豪總領事在任期間積極參與我市舉辦的各類國際交流活動，有效促進了雙方在各領域的了解與合作，和重慶各界建立了廣泛友好聯系。重慶市將一如既往地支持日本駐重慶總領事館、加拿大駐重慶總領事館的工作，希望領館繼續發揮橋梁紐帶作用，推動重慶與兩國在經貿、科技、教育、文化、旅游、友城等各領域交流合作取得新進展。

渡邊信之總領事在任期間，日領館積極組織日本各界代表參加在渝舉辦的西洽會、重慶市市長國際經濟顧問團會議、西旅會等各領域國際交流活動。重慶與加拿大享有友好交往的歷史淵源，重慶對中加關系發展也具有重要意義。渡邊信之、戴杰豪均表示，在渝工作生活是美好而寶貴的經歷，特別感謝重慶各界對領館及他們本人的關心和支持。今后，將繼續關注、支持重慶的發展，并期待有機會再回重慶。

On behalf of Chongqing Municipality， Du Liming expressed appreciation and gratitude towards the two consuls general for their active contributions to promoting exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and their home countries during their term of office. Du Liming said that consuls general Nobuyuki Watanabe and Jeff David actively participated in various international exchange activities held by our city during their term of office， effectively enhanced mutual understanding and cooperation in various fields， and established extensive friendly ties with all walks of life in Chongqing. Chongqing will always support the work of the Japanese Consulate General and the Canadian Consulate General in the city. It is hoped that the consulates general will continue to play the linkage role to promote new progresses in exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and the two countries in economy， trade， science and technology， education， culture， tourism， friendly cities and other fields.

8月24日，市政府副市長、市經濟信息委主任陳金山會見了英國駐華公使、貿易使節吳僑文一行。

陳金山介紹了歷屆智博會舉辦情況、重慶經濟社會發展最新情況和“十四五”規劃相關情況。他說，重慶戰略地位重要，區位優勢突出，是中國西部地區重要開放樞紐，在國家區域發展和對外開放格局中具有獨特而重要的作用。當前，重慶正全面貫徹落實習近平主席重要指示要求，立足新發展階段，貫徹新發展理念，融入新發展格局，推進大數據智能化創新，推動數字經濟和實體經濟深度融合，傾力打造“智造重鎮”、建設“智慧名城”。在回顧重慶與英國的交往合作時，陳金山表示，英國積極支持和參與歷屆智博會，重慶與英國在智能制造、生物醫藥、環保科技產業等領域有很多合作機遇，希望雙方共同攜手推動智能化為經濟賦能、為生活添彩。

吳僑文表示，重慶是中國西部重鎮，擁有優越的區位條件，在產業基礎、開放通道、科技創新等方面優勢突出，重慶近年來經濟社會發展取得的成就令人印象深刻。英國駐華使館和駐重慶總領事館組織了48家英國相關公司和機構參展本屆智博會，并將繼續發揮橋梁作用，積極引薦英國合作伙伴，助力重慶智能產業發展，推動重慶和英國各領域合作與交流。

Vice mayor Chen Jinshan meets with British minister and trade envoy John Edwards in China

On August 24， Chen Jinshan， vice mayor of the Chongqing Municipal Government and director of Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Commission， met with John Edwards， British minister and trade envoy to China.

Chen Jinshan introduced the holding of previous SCEs， the latest profile of Chongqing's economic and social development and the relevant updates of the 14th five year plan. He said that Chongqing， boasting an key strategic position and prominent geographical advantages， is an important hub of opening-up in Western China and plays a unique and important role in the national regional development and opening-up pattern. At present， Chongqing is fully implementing the important instructions of President Xi Jinping in a new development stage， putting the new development concept into practice， integrating into the new development pattern， advancing big data intelligent innovation， driving the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy， and making great efforts to build a "smart manufacturing hub" and build a "famous smart city". When reviewing the exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and the UK， Chen Jinshan said that the UK actively supports and participates in previous SCEs. Chongqing and the UK share many cooperation opportunities in the fields of intelligent manufacturing， environmental protection technology industry and so on. He hoped that the two sides will work together to enable the economy and add color to life with intelligence.

John Edwards said that Chongqing is a key player in Western China with superior location and outstanding advantages in industrial foundation， opening-up corridors and scientific and technological innovation. Chongqing's achievements in economic and social development in recent years are impressive. The British Embassy in China and the British Consulate General in Chongqing have organized 48 relevant British companies and institutions to participate in this SCE， and will continue to play a bridging role， actively bring in British partners， propel the development of smart industry in Chongqing， and promote cooperation and exchanges between Chongqing and the UK in various fields.

8月13日，中國重慶市向緬甸捐贈抗擊新冠肺炎疫情物資啟運儀式在重慶市人民政府外事辦公室舉行。啟運儀式后，制氧機、醫用外科口罩、防護服、隔離衣等抗疫物資的跨境公路班車從重慶出發，將通過云南畹町口岸出境，助力緬方抗疫。市政府外辦主任章勇武、副主任王雯，巴南區外辦、重慶醫藥集團、重慶公運東盟國際物流有限公司等區縣及企業負責人出席啟運儀式。

當前，疫情在緬甸持續蔓延，考慮到緬方實際困難和需要，重慶市人民政府緊急調撥抗疫物資支援緬甸，支持緬甸戰勝新一輪疫情，幫扶正經受疫情沖擊的緬甸民眾。

China-Myanmar friendship goes back a very long way！ Chongqing donates anti-epidemic supplies to Myanmar

On August 13， the supplies departure ceremony donated by Chongqing， China donated to Myanmar in support of the nations efforts to fight the COVID-19 epidemic was held at the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government. Afterwards， cross-border highway lorries of oxygen machines， medical surgical masks， preventive suits， and isolation gowns， among other supplies， were transported from Chongqing to Myanmar via Wanding， the border port of Yunnan province， to help the countrys battle against the contagion. Director general Zhang Yongwu， deputy director general Wang Wen of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government as well as leaders of the Foreign Affairs Office of Banan District， Chongqing Pharmaceutical （Group） Co.， Ltd.， Chongqing Highway Transport ASEAN International Logistics Co.， Ltd.， and persons in charge of other district， county and businesses attended the event.

As COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc on Myanmar， Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government， considering the actual difficulties and needs of the country， organized anti-epidemic supplies to support Myanmars efforts to deal with recent outbreaks and lend a helping hand to the people of Myanmar.

Chongqing strictly implements the CPC Central Committee's concept of "people first， life foremost" in the battle against the epidemic， proactively participates in Chinas worldwide efforts to contain outbreaks of the pandemic by providing support and assistance to the countries concerned as far as it can. 8月6日，市政府外辦主任章勇武會見了即將離任回國的荷蘭駐重慶總領事孔思哲，并向其頒發“重慶友好使者證書”。

章勇武表示，在孔思哲總領事的帶領下，荷蘭駐重慶總領事館團隊務實拓展荷蘭與重慶各領域的交流合作，發揮雙方比較優勢，通過拜訪相關單位洽談合作、舉辦相關領域交流研討會，重點發展了農業、冷鏈物流、貿易等合作項目，成效顯著。章勇武說，孔思哲總領事是資深外交官，希望他離任回國后繼續關注重慶，宣傳重慶，換一個角度繼續為推動重慶與荷蘭的交流合作發揮作用。

孔思哲表示，在重慶工作和生活的5年，讓他切實了解重慶，理解中國，在重慶的經歷將是他最難忘的記憶。特別感謝重慶市政府外辦給予荷蘭駐渝總領事館及他本人的關心和支持，今后無論身在何方，他都將密切關注重慶、積極支持重慶。

Zhang Yongwu meets with Koen Sizoo， Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Chongqing

Zhang Yongwu， director general of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government， met with Koen Sizoo， the outgoing Consul-general of the Netherlands in Chongqing on August 6， and awarded the latter the "Certificate of Chongqings Messenger of Goodwill".

Zhang Yongwu said that， under the leadership of Koen Sizoo， the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Chongqing has adhered to a pragmatical style in expanding the exchange and cooperation between the Netherlands and Chongqing in various fields and highlighting the comparative advantages of both sides through visiting relevant organizations or businesses to tap potential for cooperation or hosting exchange seminars in related areas， with a focus on the development of cooperation projects in agriculture， cold chain logistics， trade and so on. Its effect was very evident. Zhang expected that Sizoo， a veteran diplomat， continues paying attention to Chongqing and promote Chongqing after his departure， and continue to play a role in advancing exchange and cooperation between Chongqing and the Netherlands from a different perspective.

8月12日，市政府外辦一級巡視員唐文率領事處、財務處、歐非處相關負責人赴中國歐盟商會西南分會及相關會員企業開展“我為群眾辦實事”之“三送一訪”調研活動。與歐盟商會西南分會及會員企業代表座談交流，并實地考察商會會員企業VFS Global簽證中心和迪卡儂。

座談會上，唐文表示，市政府外辦將發揮職能職責，為在渝外企與地方部門合作牽線搭橋，協助解決企業發展中遇到的各種難題，讓外企在重慶持續健康發展，實現互利共贏。

中國歐盟商會西南分會董事會成員夏飛代表全體會員感謝重慶市政府外辦長期以來提供的幫助和支持，尤其是在新冠肺炎疫情下，協助重慶歐盟商會西南分會的會員返渝復工復產。希望歐盟商會西南分會與市政府外辦繼續保持良好的交流與互動，共同助力重慶的開放發展。

Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government visits the European Chamber Southwest Chapter and related member enterprises

As part of efforts to implement "doing practical things for the masses"， a delegation comprising of leaders of the Consular Division， Finance Division， and European and African Affairs Division， with Tang Wen， level-I inspector of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government as its head， visited the Southwest Chapter of European Union Chamber of Commerce in China （EUCCC） and discussed with related member enterprises on August 12， centering around "communicating policies， delivering tools， rendering consulting services， and visiting enterprises". The delegation also toured VFS Global Visa Center and Decathlon， the member enterprises of the Chamber.

Tang stated at the meeting that the Foreign Affairs Office will play a functional role in bridging the cooperation between Chongqing-based foreign businesses and local departments， and assisting in addressing various problems in their development， enabling foreign investors to grow in a sustainable and healthy way for mutual benefit and win-win situation in the city.

On behalf of all members， Xavier Arnaud， member of the Board of Directors of EUCCC Southwest China Chapter， expressed gratitude to the Foreign Affairs Office for its long-standing help and support， especially for assisting the members of EUCCC Southwest China Chapter to return to work and resume production in Chongqing amid the COVID-19 epidemic. 8月17日，廣陽島國際會議中心功能優化視頻會在外事大樓召開。市政府外辦、重慶廣陽島綠色發展有限責任公司等單位與外交部禮賓司視頻連線，就優化廣陽島國際會議中心功能進行了深入研討。

市政府外辦副主任周毅主持會議，他表示，重慶廣陽島定位為大河文明國際峰會場館、國家重要外事活動承載地，將重點打造“生態高峰會”，建好廣陽島國際會議中心是重慶建設中西部國際交往中心的一項重要任務。外交部禮賓司承擔了國家對外禮儀和典禮事務，擁有舉辦重大外事活動的豐富經驗，希望能為會議中心的建設提出指導意見。

外交部禮賓司大活處朱小樂處長、李云副處長線上答疑，認為廣陽島國際會議中心借鑒了國內成功的峰會承辦經驗，前期與相關部門、運營單位開展了充分對接，方案整體上能夠滿足國際峰會活動需求，并就會議中心的硬件設施、功能布局、動線流程、酒店配套等方面提出了優化改進意見。

重慶廣陽島綠色發展有限責任公司黨委書記王岳表示，廣陽島生態修復完成后，全島的自然風光、人文風景、國際化設施將共同支撐廣陽島作為重要的外事活動承載地。希望外交部禮賓司能適時來渝現場指導，對重慶的對外開放工作提供長期的支持和幫助。

The Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government holds a video conference on function optimization of Guangyang Island International Conference Center

A video conference on optimizing the functions of Guangyang Island International Conference Center was held， on August 17， in the Foreign Affairs Building. The Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government， Chongqing Guangyang Island Green Development Co.， Ltd.， and the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had an in-depth discussion via video link on optimizing the functions of the Guangyang Island International Conference Center.

Zhou Yi， deputy director general of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government， presided over the meeting and emphasized that Chongqing Guangyang Island is positioned as the venue of the International Summit of Great Rivers Civilization and the seat of important state diplomatic activities， with a focus on building the "Eco Summit". Building the Guangyang Island International Convention Center is an important task for Chongqing to build an international exchange center in Central and Western China. The Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs， responsible for state protocol matters and ceremonial events， is very experienced in holding major diplomatic activities and it is thus expected to provide the guiding principle for the construction.

Zhu Xiaole and Li Yun， division chief and deputy division chief， respectively， of major diplomatic matters of the Department of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs， answered questions online and believed that the Center had drawn experience of hosting summits in China and had sufficient communication with relevant departments and operational units in the early stage. In addition to the plan that meets the requirements of international summit activities， they gave advice on the improvement of hardware， functional layout， dynamic flow， and hotel facilities of the Center.

Wang Yue， Party secretary of the CPC Chongqing Guangyang Island Green Development Co.， Ltd. Committee explained that， upon the completion of ecological restoration of Guangyang Island， the natural scenery， cultural and historical sites， and internationalized facilities of the whole island will bolster Guangyang Island as an important seat for diplomatic activities. It is hoped that the Protocol Department will come to Chongqing in due course for on-site guidance and provide long-term support and assistance to Chongqing's opening-up.

周毅率隊赴北碚督導防境外疫情輸入工作

8月13日，市政府外辦副主任周毅率隊赴北碚重慶京東方顯示技術有限公司境外復工復產人員隔離酒店督導防境外疫情輸入工作。北碚區委常委、統戰部長吳萍參加此次督導工作。

自2020年以來，重慶京東方已有1170名境外復工復產人員來渝。為進一步做好防范境外疫情輸入工作，周毅一行實地走訪隔離觀察酒店，詳細了解境外來渝人員的轉運和集中隔離等工作，了解酒店對隔離人員集中隔離的相關制度、隔離人員生活垃圾管理、服務員自我健康監測、疫苗接種及定期核酸檢測情況、酒店中央空調的使用、公共區域消殺、記錄規范情況等。

周毅強調，目前境外疫情仍未得到有效控制，中國也出現了多起散發或聚集性疫情，所有人員一定要高度重視防境外疫情輸入工作。要落實屬地、行業監管、企業主體和個人四方責任，全鏈條、全環節落實疫情防控工作，將工作做實做細。屬地衛生健康委和疾控中心應對隔離酒店人員開展專業培訓、并定期督導疫情防控工作執行情況。

A team led by Zhou Yi goes to Beibei to supervise the COVID-19 importation prevention work

On August 13， Zhou Yi， deputy director general of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government， led a team to the Beibei-based quarantine hotel used for overseas returned staff members for work and production resumption at Chongqing BOE Display Technology Co.， Ltd. in supervision of COVID-19 importation prevention. Wu Ping， member of the Standing Committee and director of United Front Work Department of the CPC Beibei District Committee took part in the supervision.

A total of 1，170 BOE employees has been back from abroad to Chongqing， since 2020 to resume work and production. To better prevent COVID-19 importation， Zhou and his team visited the quarantine hotel to learn in detail about the transportation and centralized quarantine process for personnel from outside the Chinese mainland， relevant systems of the hotel for centralized quarantine， management of domestic waste of quarantined personnel， self-health monitoring， vaccination and regular nucleic acid testing of service staff， use of central air-conditioning in the hotel， public area disinfection， and record specification.

Zhou emphasized that the pandemic outside the country is not yet put under control and there are sporadic or cluster outbreaks in China， all personnel must pay close heed to prevent COVID-19 importation. It is imperative to implement the quadrangular responsibilities - localities， industrial supervision， corporate bodies， and individuals， and implement the whole-chain and link prevention and control measures， and do the work more practically and scrupulously. The local health commissions and centers for disease control and prevention are required to conduct professional training and regularly supervise the implementation of epidemic prevention and control work for the personnel of quarantine hotels.
