中國（重慶）—美國金融圓桌會在渝舉行

5月18日，由中國貿促會貿易投資促進部、美國駐華大使館商務處共同主辦，重慶市貿促會承辦的中國（重慶）—美國金融圓桌會在威斯汀酒店舉行。美國駐華大使館商務參贊哈國瑞率領的美國金融代表團，以及來自重慶市相關部門、開發區、銀行及企業代表，共80余人出席會議。

哈國瑞在致辭中表示，商務與貿易是中美兩國關系的支柱，希望通過本次活動加深中美，特別是美國與重慶市企業界的聯系，對中美企業交往產生積極影響。此次代表團來自美國金融服務行業的各個領域，選擇訪渝的主要原因是堅信重慶市將走在金融領域開放前列，期待重慶的開放政策吸引更多美國企業落戶重慶，并希望未來帶領更多美國企業訪渝。交流會上，我市相關部門及中外企業參會代表分別就推進金融領域合作介紹了情況。

On May 18， the China （Chongqing） - U.S. Financial Roundtable， co-sponsored by the Trade and Investment Promotion Department of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade （CCPIT） and the Commercial Office of the U.S. Embassy in China， was held at the Westin Hotel. Some 80 people attended the Roundtable， including the U.S. financial delegation led by Gregory Harris， commercial counselor of the U.S. Embassy in China， and representatives from relevant departments， development zones， banks and enterprises in Chongqing.

In his speech， Gregory Harris said that commerce and trade are the pillars of the Sino-US relations; that he hoped that through this event， the ties between China and the US， especially between the US and the business community in Chongqing， would be deepened， and that it would have a positive impact on Sino-US business exchanges; that the delegation came from various fields of financial service industry in the US， whose main reason for choosing to visit Chongqing is that they firmly believe that Chongqing will be in the forefront of financial opening-up and the opening-up policy of Chongqing is expected to attract more American enterprises to settle in Chongqing; and that he hoped to lead more American enterprises to visit Chongqing in the future. At the exchange meeting， representatives of the departments of Chongqing and the Chinese and foreign enterprises respectively introduced the situation of promoting cooperation in the financial field.

Tang Wen， deputy director of Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government， attended the event as well.
