COVID-19 speeds up the digital transformation process around the world. In the era of normalized epidemic prevention and control， "intelligent technology" will undoubtedly play a key role in rebuilding the global economy. At the 2nd Smart China Expo， Chongqing showed the world the massive opportunities it had to build a global big data intelligent application center. 重慶是大韓民國臨時(shí)政府舊址和光復(fù)軍總司令部舊址所在地，與韓國獨(dú)立運(yùn)動(dòng)淵源深厚。因此，重慶是許多韓國人希望到訪的一座城市。文在寅總統(tǒng)于2017年訪問重慶，韓國國務(wù)總理也于2019年訪問重慶。去年，適逢“3.1運(yùn)動(dòng)”和大韓民國臨時(shí)政府成立100周年，在中國中央政府和重慶市政府的幫助下，韓國光復(fù)軍總司令部舊址得以復(fù)建完工。

Nowadays， the cutting edge industries such as AI and intelligent manufacturing have become an important part of our life. I think the theme of Smart China Expo comes just in time. It is expected that this Smart China Expo can add more momentum to Chongqing's leadership in intelligent technology development.

As the seat of the provisional government of the Republic of Korea and the general headquarters of Korean Liberation Army， Chongqing enjoys a profound relationship with the Korean independence movement. So， Chongqing is a city that many Koreans wish to visit. President Moon Jae-in visited Chongqing in 2017， the Prime Minister of South Korea also visited the city in 2019. Last year marked the 100th anniversary of the "March-1st movement" and the establishment of the provisional government of the Republic of Korea， with the assistance of the central government of China and the Chongqing Municipal Government， the general headquarters of Korean Liberation Army was restored.

This year， China and South Korea ?joined hands to combat COVID-19. Incheon city of South Korea donated anti-epidemic supplies to Chongqing city. Chongqing also donated anti-epidemic supplies to Seoul-a friendly city of cooperation. It is hoped that this cooperative relationship will continue to deepen in the future. It is also expected that SK Hynix， Hankook Tire， Hyundai Motor and other South Korean funded enterprises in Chongqing， as the partners of China and South Korea's future intelligent industry cooperation， will work together with Chinese enterprises to develop and create a better future together.

On behalf of Chongqing's friendly city of Hiroshima， I would like to convey my sincere wishes to Chongqing on the occasion of the 2020 Smart China Expo Online. Since the twinning of friendship cities between Chongqing and Hiroshima in 1986， we have carried out extensive exchanges in the fields of culture， sports， environment， healthcare and academic research. In August this year， at the International Youth Conference for Peace in the Future held in Hiroshima， 12 teenagers from Chongqing exchanged views with their counterparts from Hiroshima and other cities.
