Introduction

Dai medicine belongs to one of the four traditional ethnic medicine in China.The characteristic nursing of Dai medicine is an important part of traditional Dai medicine.It is closely related to the development of Dai medicine.Dai medicine is a theoretical system with"Si Ta Wu Yun","Zhui Jie theory","Wind disease theory" as the core [1].The concept of care theory of Dai medical is to carry out all-round nursing of physiology,psychology and society with the patients as the center.Yunnan region has rich Dai medical culture,and now some regions have opened Dai hospitals,in order to carry forward and inherit the Dai medical culture with distinct national and regional characteristics.Dai medical science plays a great practical role in modern nursing,but at present,major medical colleges and universities do not set up systematic and standardized courses related to Dai medical science.With the help of geographical advantages,our school gives full play to the resources of Dai medical teachers and sets up optional courses of Dai medical science.However,in the process of teaching,how to deepen the understanding of students who have no basis in ethnic medicine,improve their enthusiasm for active learning and improve the quality of teaching are the key contents of our discussion.Question-based teaching method is a mature teaching method currently used.Taking questions as the starting point,students deepen their mastery of certain knowledge by thinking about problems.This study used the rain classroom system of our school to combine the question-based teaching method with"Internet +",so as to increase students' learning initiative,increase their learning enthusiasm and consolidate their knowledge.

Research object

Our school elective Dai medical science major 103 students.

Teaching method

Establish teaching faculty

In order to guarantee the quality of teaching,cooperative teaching is adopted.Teachers of our school choosed those who have more than 3 years' teaching experience in related subjects of Dai medicine and more than 5 years' working experience in medical care and management of Dai medical hospital in our province to form a teaching team.

Making teaching plan

The teaching content is composed of theoretical teaching and practical operation,including 24 hours of theoretical teaching and 12 hours of practical operation,totaling 36 hours.The theoretical teaching content includes:the development history of Dai medicine and Dai medical theory,the relevant disease terminology in Dai medicine,the concept of Dai medical theory,the relevant content of Dai medical theory,and the nursing measures of different diseases.The practical teaching content includes:the nursing measures of the love consciousness nursing of Dai medicine,the nursing measures of the daily living nursing of Dai medicine,the nursing measures of the diet nursing of Dai medicine and the nursing points of the traditional sleeping medicine,dragging and wiping,fumigation and fumigation treatment of Dai medicine.

Teaching apply

Join the “rain class” and set 8 questions related to Dai medical theory.Before the formal class,inform the students to join the “rain class” teaching of this course.Three days before each theory class,push the related questions of Dai health care theory to each student's mobile phone through the WeChat push function of“rain class”.

Student autonomous learning.Under the guidance of teachers,students should take questions as the center,consult online materials and library books by themselves,useing various learning tools to preview,and have a good idea of the learning content.At the same time,I found that new problems in the process of consulting materials,and consulted the teacher or other students when the class began.All questions,students can discuss and exchange,the teacher listens from the side,revise.And then to achieve a comprehensive and correct understanding of the knowledge,and finally to achieve the meaning of knowledge construction.

Video push,increase intuitive feeling.Using the rain classroom system,the relevant skills of Dai medical science are made into animation form,video is pushed to the mobile phone terminal of students,students can watch it repeatedly at any time,and intuitively experience the operation and matters needing attention of Dai medical science.

Increasing hands-on ability.The 103 students were divided into 5 groups(each group has an average of 20 students),and each group acted as the operating object of each other,so that the students could really master and get familiar with the operation technology related to Dai medical science.Finally,the students gave feedback and the teacher gave the score.

Feedback.Students can raise questions to teachers or other students at any time during the course of class through the function of“rain-screen”,and feedback the teaching effect at the same time.

Teaching evaluation

Theory and skills assessment.the paper analysis system is used to evaluate students' theoretical and practical performance.The theoretical test includes four types of questions,namely single-choice question,multiple-choice question,short answer question and case analysis question.Practical operation assessment divides students into 5 groups.Each group is given a clinical case by the teacher.Objective Structured Clinical Examination multi-station assessment is adopted to integrate the relevant content of Dai medical theory into specific diseases for implementation.

To investigate the students' subjective evaluation of the teaching mode.The self-designed questionnaire was used to understand the students' evaluation of the teaching effect.The questionnaire consists of three parts:the first part is to understand students'satisfaction with the course; the second part is to evaluate the teaching effect of the course.The options are set as "agree" and "disagree".The third part is two open questions,which are "what do you think are the advantages of this teaching model? What improvements would you like to see in the course?"

Results

Student theory and skills assessment results

The theoretical and technical scores were(72.53+1.78)and (81.25+0.33),respectively.Among them,most of the theoretical scores were lost on multiple-choice questions and case analysis questions.In the process of skill operation,it is found that students can well master the process of each individual operation,but the specific implementation of the operation on students will lead to inconsistent operation and insufficient humanistic care.

Students'evaluation of this teaching mode

At the end of the course,103 questionnaires were distributed to students anonymously,and 103 were recovered.Among them,96 (93.2%) were satisfied with the teaching mode.The evaluation of students'effect of this teaching mode is shown in Table1.The feedback of students with open questions mainly has the advantages of this teaching mode:(1) Improve students' independent learning ability,enhance their awareness of the knowledge of Dai medical science,and stimulate their interest in learning.(2) How to improve the curriculum:appropriate increase clinical probation or clinical practice teaching,through the case observation and familiar with the knowledge of Dai medical science.

Discussion

Question-based teaching method is a teaching method widely used at present,and its effect has been affirmed by researchers.Some researchers have applied this method to the clinical teaching of ethnic medicine and nursing,and achieved good results [2].This study combines the question-based teaching method with the“rain classroom” system in our school,and makes full use of network means and advantages to implement teaching.

Stimulate interest in learning and thirst for knowledge

The results of this study showed that 95 (92.2%)students believe that this method can stimulate their interest in learning and thirst for knowledge.Before class,the teacher sends the Dai medical care theory related questions through the WeChat end of the “rain class”.The students check the materials and preview in advance.Compared with the traditional oral arrangement of teachers,this method will not cause students to forget,and can remind students at any time.Dai medical theory is not introduced in the textbook,many characteristics of nursing operation students do not have systematic learning,for students is a strange field.Compared with traditional teacher-lecture-style teaching,it can deepen students' understanding of Dai medical theory.Open questions are sent to encourage students to think positively with divergent thinking and critical thinking.When the problems are solved by their own efforts,the sense of achievement and self-confidence of students will be multiplied,thus stimulating their interest in learning ethnic medicine and nursing.

Improve the ability of independent learning and innovation

Among the students surveyed in this study,90(87.4%)believe that this method can improve their independent learning ability and innovation ability,which is similar to Xie Z's research results [3].After the questions are sent,if students have any questions in the process of data access,they can also feedback to the teacher through the “rain classroom” system.At this point,the teacher will not directly give the answer,but provide the relevant clues to solve the problem,combined with the clues,students then inquiry-based collection of information.It can greatly improve students' self-study ability and cultivate their innovative thinking ability.

Enhance the ability of communication and collaboration

Each student has different ideas and directions for thinking about problems.After discussion and communication,students reach consensus and then apply it to practice under the guidance of teachers.In the process of theoretical teaching,we adopt a variety of teaching methods,such as group discussion teaching,small lecture teaching,case teaching,and make full use of various tools and information resources(literature,books,audio and video materials,multimedia courseware) to achieve the purpose of learning,and complete the construction of knowledge from "zero" to "whole".In this process,students discuss with each other,help each other,cooperate with each other,cultivate the team spirit,is conducive to the cultivation of good professional ethics and good quality of teamwork.

It is conducive to the integration and application of multidisciplinary knowledge

Although students'knowledge of Dai medical theory is basically zero,they have other medical or nursing knowledge.In the process of learning medical science of Dai,students compare science of Dai medical with modern medicine,and find the differences and similarities between science of Dai medical and modern medicine.It is conducive to the integration of multi-disciplinary knowledge,and it can use modern concepts to extract relevant content of traditional Dai medical theory,so as to help subsequent learners better understand and apply Dai medical theory.

Exercise clinical thinking ability

According to the research of Ci H,et al.,question-based teaching can not only improve students'independent learning ability,but also improve their clinical practice ability [4].The practice teaching in this study no longer USES the traditional teacher demonstration,student operation mode.But will Dai medical skills made animation,through video transmission to the student mobile phone side.Students can through the video preview related operation ahead of schedule.Teachers combined with clinical practical cases,the operation content to be learned into the case,so that students can systematically and coherent use of Dai nursing related operation systematically and coherently,has the clinical practicability more,and may through the case introduction,enhances the student's clinical thinking ability.

Summary

The theory of Dai medical care is one of the four traditional ethnic medicine in China.At present,major medical colleges and universities in China are not optimistic about the opening of related majors of ethnic medicine,which will be the focus of our future work.The establishment of elective courses of Dai medical science in our school needs to be further improved,and nursing educators need to constantly explore and reform in practice,especially in clinical practice.In this way,related hospitals and research bases of Dai medicine can be combined to lay a foundation for cultivating more practical talents of Dai medical science.
