Fashion Transformation!“China Textile City Cup”2019 Global Fashion Design Elite Challenge is the perfect ending

On September 27th， the“China Textile City Cup” 2019 Global Fashion Design Elite Challenge Finals and Awards Ceremony was held during the“2019 Second World Textile Merchandising Conference”， which ended in Keqiao， Shaoxing. In order to link the design with the market， industry and business， improve the Keqiao fashion， help more fashion designers to innovate and start a business， build a new platform for design creativity， foster new kinetic energy， and open a new textile engine of “science and technology， fashion and green”， advised by China National Textile and Apparel Council， organized by the Peoples Government of Keqiao District， Shaoxing City， Zhejiang Province， Construction Management Committee of China Textile City， Keqiao District， Shaoxing City， China Textiles Magazine， co-organized by China Fashion Association， Fashion Dream Incubator， WWW.QFC.CN， the 2019 Global Fashion Design Elite Challenge， the global high-end fashion event was launched in July.

As a brand-new professional and creative event， the “China Textile City Cup” 2019 Global Fashion Design Elite Challenge is different from other traditional events since its inception. It pays more attention to the coordinated development of local industry and international fashion trends， and the integration and symbiosis of fashion industry and supply chain. To this end， since its inception， the competition has been directed to invite high-end global design talent.

The theme of this competition is “Fashion Transformation”. From the beginning of drafting， participants will be guided to design systematically and creatively from various dimensions such as lifestyle， color， fabric texture， functionality， green environmental protection， and so on. It highlights the new orientation and label of “science and technology， fashion and green” textiles. Therefore， in this competition works， we can clearly feel the designers deep thinking on the theme and self-personality. When focusing on the practical application of the transformation of “Chinas smart-made” fabrics and garments， the works more perfect system of the current fashion trend， the organic combination of technology with fashion and green.

As of the initial evaluation of the event on August 13， the organizing committee received works from more than 450 designers in 19 countries and regions， including France， Italy， Netherlands， Spain， Russia， Japan， Canada， India， Egypt， Thailand， Kazakhstan， Ukraine， Iran， Djibouti， Fiji Islands， Congo， mainland China， Hong Kong， Macao and Taiwan， China. On the stage of the finals， 20 finalists used the fashion fabrics of China Textile City to transform their ideas into ready-to-wear.

On the stage of the finals， more and more Chinese cutting-edge designers create an outstanding work with an international vision. There are also more and more overseas senior designers who bring their unique ethnic and cultural personality to China.

In the era of media convergence， how to provide better support for industry docking with big data cloud management， how to provide more space for industrial cooperation for all competitors， how to use the “tem-perament” of Keqiao fabric and the “appearance” of fashion to achieve the ultimate， has become the direction of every participants efforts.
