English people have porridge for breakfast， too. But their porridge is made of oats （燕麥）， not rice. Many English people put sugar in their porridge.

“Today is Moms birthday， Molly，” Nick said. “Lets make her favorite banana bread and surprise her.”

Nick took out a cookbook. “Ill read the recipe， and you follow it. Get out a bowl and a spoon while I turn on the oven.” Nick read from the cookbook. “First， mash （搗碎） the bananas in the bowl.”

The robot put the bananas into the bowl and was going to mash them with its hands. “Stop！” Nick said. “Lets try this again.
